You know when you are more likely to make those shots? When you are already in rhythm and in the flow of the game. He never got there, and compounded it by forcing up bad shots. That isn't how you get going, it's how you end up with 8 points in a big game.

He had a bad day. Watch the film, learn from it and keep it moving...

Don't you keep shooting to try to get going and get in the rhythm? Yes, your point has been made - he had an off night but If you watch the tapes you will see that there were multiple players leaning and hanging on him the entire game. I personally don't think that's basketball...but Ben will only get better from these experiences - he's that kind of kid!

You take high percentage shots to get going and find a rhythm. He didn't allow himself that opportunity.

I promise, what I'm saying isn't that hard to grasp...

As far as others hanging on him, that's part of the game. Comes with the territory of being a big.

Personally I don't think you simply keep shooting to get into a rhythm. If they are good shots and part of the offense, then yes you take them. Some times you are just having an off night. In times like these, defer to your teammates and be an asset in other part of the game. Get rebounds. Set picks. Defend. Be a vocal leader.

I'm not saying Ben didn't do those things. I am just adding my opinion you don't keep shooting to get into a rhythm.
