  2. Look at my post again, you know where I said "going from memory?" I didn't look at the box score, I knew it would be ugly. :lol2: Your box score numbers are just about the same as my memory numbers are. So total was 4 of 17? Pathetic, to say the least.
  3. This thread is about last nights Florida game. Just from memory: Briscoe took one outside jumper , missed it and missed 2 free throws. That's his scoring summary. He drives the lane to the base line, stops and then can't find anyone to pass to. When he does go to the rim, his shot gets blocked and very seldom draws a foul. He also had 4 TO's and no rebounds. Willis took one shot missed it, didn't shoot it again. One rebound. Hawkins took one shot and missed it, didn't shoot again. He's just taking up space. Somebody help me understand how you can score points if you don't take a shot?
  4. One year of free college, then he's worth millions. Why wouldn't he be smiling? :irked:
  5. Hawkins needs a new pair of shoes, or put training wheels on the ones that he has.
  6. CCH was impressive last year from where I was sitting. If they're the same or better than last year, watch out.
  7. Hmmm. CCH is going to need more than a great QB to beat the Birds. Ask Tim Couch how it went while he was in the fort.
  8. I guess you didn't see my LOL guy? I was trying to be funny. Who knows how long it's been going on. Seriously, lighten up Francis.
  9. Heard on TV this game had over 80 million viewers. WOW!!!
  10. The flag that was thrown by the ref landed on the one yard line. The ref was in the end zone when he threw the flag. The ref did not move the flag, or adjust it, once it landed. So, I say you are correct. Something should be done about the rub routes. The last TD, one receiver was blocking the DB at the knees before the ball was even thrown. They had another TD earlier in the game, but looked a little more legal. Clemson got away with one, or maybe two in this game. They would have scored from the 5 yard line anyway with the illegal pick. JMO.
  11. I'm not looking for anything. Just want clarification about the rule. I've never heard about the rib area, it's always been the head and neck area. If the defender leads with the crown of the helmet and hits Jordy in the thigh, is that a penalty or not. I think Jordy had the pass to him broken up by a DB before the hit, which could have made Jordy more vulnerable, or is that even relevant?
  12. Hope Jordy is ok, and wish him a speedy recovery.
  13. The play happened on the GB side of the field. None of the GB players or coaches were jumping up and down or screaming for a flag. Is the official in the booth the only one that knows the rules, including the coaches and players? How does the NFL expect the players to abide by the rules, if they don't know the rules themselves? I get where you are coming from. If that had happened in the Bengals/ Steelers game both benches would have emptied. :lol2:
  14. I don't really care either way. Just seems odd that all of the zebras on the field saw the hit and didn't throw a flag. Either the refs don't know the rules or they are all blind. :idunno:
  15. I'm kind of confused about the rule of hitting a defensless player with the crown of the helmet rule. The hit on Jordy was not called a penalty on the field, but the ref in the booth said it should have been called. Ok, it's a penalty to hit the player in the head and shoulder area and now it's a penalty to include the ribs. At this rate we will see NFL flag football at it's finest.
  16. I'm also AMAZED that the NKY football programs worry more about Highlands than trying to figure out how to beat Trinity, X and Male. :lol2:
  17. " That's not how you spell chikin." (Sorry, that's all I got.)
  18. Please stop. It's really hard (but I'm trying) to find your posts credible. You get all this info about Highlands from a friend of a friend who knows a Highlands guy. :lol2:
  19. ...........and a last second missed field goal by NC State. ............and a no call obvious PI call in the end zone 2nd last play of the UofL game.
