I can't believe we are 3 days into Spring Practice and a Highlands Spring Football thread hasn't started.

 

Considering they cancelled last Spring I figure the anticipation would be there. Is everyone still in Spring Break mode?

No report to be made. Monday was inside, no practice yesterday. They will be practicing the rest of the week.

They are the only QB's in camp so that is to be expected.

Cramer has been throwing at the field with some of his WR classmates on non-baseball days. I really think he has a great shot at winning the spot of at minimum JV starter.

I talked to a couple kids on the roster and they said there has been some good hitting drills going on. One kid in particular said Sam Taylor has been roving the secondary laying some licks.

My son was in town last week and wandered up to watch for a while, he said the same thing. He also said Coach T was in mid season form.

Good to hear and not surprised at all. Sammy T gets it done. I had the privilege of coaching him and he just makes tackles. Very polite off the field as well.

So, the starters are full contact against the underclassmen,( non starters.)? Thought that didn't happen anymore at HHS practices? I guess the poster who said that didn't happen anymore was wrong. Still having problems with my PTSD from my days at HHS practices. (LOL)
