Obviously Coopers win over NCC and HHS are suddenly not that impressive. It's a little different playing teams in your own class. I 'm not a Cooper fan and I'm not a Cooper hater. Cooper has lot's of quality opponents to play, good luck with that. Trinity scored 70 tonight and was very impressive. Bowling Green got hammered by X. Highlands got blown out by SC? I don't know but I think hell froze over. Trinity, X, and SC are scary good, just glad HHS is in 5A.

What am I missing? Why would Highlands try to avoid CCH, they have owned them for a long time? What's different this year other than CCH's brutal schedule, and a new coach? Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, I don't think JC has ever defeated Highlands. So why would HHS be ducking them? This is not a down Highlands team, the talent is there, just need more time to gel. Any body that thinks Highlands is DOWN, wait till play off time rolls around, then let us what you think.

I didn't go back to the prediction thread, but what I recall is a lot of people saying it would be a close game. Most of the people "in the know" at Highlands had a big question mark about this game and this Highlands team. One poster(guess who) ran his mouth through out the whole thread about H putting a running clock on Cooper. He IS NOT a Highlands fan and certainly does NOT have a very good football IQ. Hellbird, go back to the prediction thread and show us the posts from Highlands fans that disrespected Coopers football team or program. I'll wait. Read the post game thread and you'll see the coaches and players lost with class(as always). Go to the post game thread and post the things that you were disrespected. I can say with confidence, they weren't many and also check out the coaches thoughts on the game including nothing but praise for the Cooper team. So once again pull up those posts and show us how Cooper was disrespected, again, I'll wait. Over the years I've learned that if your screaming about getting no respect for your team, it makes people less likely to respect your team. If you complain week after week it will only get worse as the season progresses. No body slapped any body in the face, that's bull crap. The poll had maybe 3 to 1 that Highlands would win that game, that's who would win the game with no point spread even mentioned in the poll. You've got questions to be answered. Again, I'll be waiting for your replies.Hopefully we won' hear the no respect issue every week.t If you really want respect, beat some teams that you weren't expected to beat, go deep in the playoffs and bring home a state title.

I don't make predictions, but if CC beats the Birds @ DCMS, Ram will have the lock out and ready to go. East Central has a nice program but usually isn't in the running for a state title. It's probably been 25 years since they won a state title.

Is 2011or 2012 the year that Quick and company went into the pit at Elder and handed them the biggest defeat at home ever? I hope T wins this battle with no injuries to either team.
