Should schools be required to report Statistics to the KHSAA
5 STAR replied to theguru's topic in KY Football (High School)
The great players in the state don't need stats to prove how good they are. People in the know, already know who they are. Stats can be padded and too many variables for the stats to be accurate. -
Would a mod please erase post 6? Thanks!

Looks like a bigger than normal field for the Belmont. With no odds on favorites, should be a good betting race.
-
Hope to see Battle At Midway in the Belmont. Got lots of rat hole money to put on his nose.

It happens to the best of us. Was going to do a tri box with three horses. When I got to the window, I changed my mind and did a key instead of a tri box. My horses ran one, two, three, but I keyed the wrong horse, but hey, I saved a couple bucks. :irked: One dollar tri paid $1700 and change. :lol2: Never again.
-
If it ain't broke don't fix it.
-
Fifty cent tri paid $4184.60 $2.00 exacta paid $336.20

Royal Mo and Master Plan are NOT running in the KY Derby.
-
I made some good money betting Irad, but lost more betting against Jose.:irked: Both of them are good jockeys, really surprised that Irad didn't get a mount. I'm still scratching my head with Gary Stevens getting an AE mount. :idunno:
-
Is that Irad or Jose riding the 16?
-
I thought or heard that the Derby is the only race that there are no AE. If there are two horses scratched they leave the one hole open and the 20 hole open. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. They were saying how unfair it is to the horses that just missed the cut off.

Yes, that's him. Thanks for the link.

I don't know that part of it. Think he was talking about the museums, not the tracks.:idunno: I was just impressed on his collection and the way he treated me, a complete stranger. I hope others on BGP would enjoy the history of the sport, and watch his video on you tube.
-
Anyone interested in horse racing collectables? I'm not selling anything, but just got off the phone with a huge collector. I sent the museum an e-mail and he called me on the phone. You tube, horse racing collectables, Ken Grayson. He has about a five minute segment where he is talking and showing his most prized collection. His favorite is the saddle used on Man O' War. Ken said he couldn't understand why the museums weren't jumping on these items, come to find out, the museums couldn't afford to buy them. He has hundreds of items "loaned out" to several museums throughout KY. Mr. Grayson was professional and polite as a person can be. He told me what my items were worth and the best way to make money on them. He ended the call by giving me his personal phone number and saying," if you have anymore questions feel free to call me anytime."

Lets not forget the runner on second was due to Barnhart's walk, and an overthrow at first base. Atta boy Billy!!!!!!!

Homer Bailey pick offs: 2007-1 2008 -0 2009-1 2010-1 2011-1 2012-0 2013-0 2014-1 2015-0 2016-0 Obviously, if your on the DL....................... For Homers' 10 year MLB career, 5 pickoffs total. This would indicate that he doesn't have a good pickoff move. :lol2: :lol2: -

Pretty sure the caught stealing falls mostly on the catcher, not the pitcher. -

Nothing absurd about it. Where is he now? He won't throw a no hitter on the DL. -

Bailey could be one of the Reds top two starting pitchers, but I'm not buying it. Dig up all the numbers on him you want but some are real bad, To begin with, he can't stay healthy, throws his fastball at 95mph as straight as the arrow on his fore arm, with no movement at all. Then add in even the slowest runners steal steal him blind and not a very good pick off move for obvious reasons. Other than that, he's perfect. -
I was told that Ellis Park and one other KY track (Bluegrass Downs?) have slot machines in operation.
