Div 3 region 10 Their ranked around #10 in their region. Guru is correct , there is a huge difference between d1 and the rest of the state.

The coaching comments are spot on for Fayette co. The only exception being the lex Catholic program. They get more out of less kids year after year. To me Fayette co schools look like a state or area that just started a football program. It lacks discipline, structure and commitment.

Now that Whitaker is calling the offence , teams won't be able to blitz every play. Walkers pass attempts will go down but his completions % should go up and his sack total should go down. Moco must try to establish the run if they want to be successful.

Collins didn't appear to have their "A" when MoCo played them IMO. They may improve a lot by seasons end but this first game neither team played particularly well.

If MC can control the clock via the run (Jake Harvey) game, and Mason Gooch continues to be a tackling machine, they have a good chance. Since coach Whitaker's return the offence has been much more balanced. With that said, GRC has played a much tougher schedule at this point. I'll go with GRCby 3. (GRC27 - MoCo 24) This will be MoCo's first real test.

Grc Reporter that seems like the best idea. I've listened to Graham and Lenny many times. Kind of funny guys with their delivery of hs sports. Perfect guys for a hs gig. With that said. I mentioned this in game thread. A lot of guys playing both sides of the ball for Moco during the Gooch era. Guys get tired and the sacks occur. In this environment rolling the qb out is about your only hope. I'm still not sure I saw enough from Moco to figure out what they have. Their defence looked solid at times, but Collins didn't appear to really have their offence ironed out.

This has been a regular occurrence for the past 5+ years. In most years due to the lack of depth kids go both ways. The 2nd half of the game usually catches to these kids.

Bath will be much better. Poynter brought bourbon co out of the basement and I look for him to do the same at bath. Bath started/played several young kids last night. Those kids are only going to get better. I look for at least one marquee win this season for bath. Once the culture is changed the wins will start coming. Bath's problem will be keeping this coaching staff together.

I really wish the school a kid leaves from had nothing to do with it. You ask for transcripts/transfer forms. You fill them out send them to khsaa and the khsaa assigns a investigator to your transfer. They do a little leg work and if everything meets the transfer rules you are free to go. If not you head back to your old school. I know its not possible due to the cost of the investigators but at least I can dream. Of course you can file a lawsuit against the khsaa if you dont like the result. Lol
