Collins 7 Montgomery County 0

Featured Replies

Hey Hey. Someone finally wondered down to the endzone.

Obviously both teams struggled offensively. Collins had 155 yards rushing and 145 passing. Nasean Roseberry was named MVP of the game after rushing for 102. Montgomery County only had 140 yards of offense.

The Titans are at Bullitt East Friday night.

Not good for Collins.

Collins is not that down, they are that young at skill. Had a couple of more chances to score but each time a mistake was made. Collins will be just fine heading into main part of season

If Montgomery County can somehow fix the major O-line problems, they could scare some people. They have a fin QB, who only needs to learn to throw the ball away and not take so many sacks.

I mentioned this in game thread.

A lot of guys playing both sides of the ball for Moco during the Gooch era.

Guys get tired and the sacks occur. In this environment rolling the qb out is about your only hope.

I'm still not sure I saw enough from Moco to figure out what they have. Their defence looked solid at times, but Collins didn't appear to really have their offence ironed out.

Defensively Collins should be fine. However, the offense needs a ton of help. Yes they are young at skill positions but they have to get better if they are going to win some games this year. They can't afford to leave points on the field by making mistakes.
