What im saying is.... Khsaa has transfer rules. Kids transfer all the time and are ruled eligible. When one gets red flagged more times then not something doesn't add up like a valid change of address. I have no idea what the red flag was in this case. Per some posters on this board it looks like maybe this was the issue. Obviously something has changed since he was ruled eligible, started to play for sc then was ruled ineligible. I might have missed this in the thread but wasn't he ruled eligible to play at the start of the sc season?

I like boyle by 5 to 10 points. Boyle has 3 things that can cause lc issues. 2 guards that can handle the press and a big on the back of the press that can finish. Im guessing lc will run their soft press as long has the game is close. If they really get aggressive I look for elkins to shoot layups off the back. Being at lc and its their tournament, bc will have their hands full. Excellent chance for bc to prepare for march imo. Same for lc, playing against a team with a solid 5 like elkins will help lc see where they are at this point.

I can see this both ways. Kendal for several years could be seen at local gyms dragging lil hc aau teams(10u, 11u) around trying to make the program better. I cant say I saw many if any other 10th region coaches doing this. He certainly seem involved . Losing a kid like this really hurts in a small town. DJ's parents have every right to move him. Im just thinking they might not have covered all their bases. My 2 cents

Bc are winning games now that they they should. If Sosby can change the losing mentality this could be a nice squad by march.

Mason an campbell are clear favorites at this time. Based on how teams improved in past years I would say scott an grc have a lot of upside. Paris is an unknown. This is brooks best team since he took over. They have some nice wins early but its not march. I would watch them, but winning 1 game verse stringing 3 together is another ball game. If grc can find scoring on a regular basis (3 games in a row) I like their chances. 1a. Campbell 1a. Mason 2a. Grc 2a. Paris 3a. Scott, harrison

This win moves HC into that 3 thru 5 range with paris an grc. Moco moves into the 6 thru 8 slot with scott high, augusta an a much improved bourbon squad. Moco has to find other ways to score when the 3's are not falling. Last night might have been the first night moco really missed hall. He might have been the only one with size an strength to handle thompson.

I would say it got a good start in the mountains, but it is much more wide spread across the state then 10 years ago. My rule is.... when you see a squad winning games with freshmen an sophomores you can just about bet their packing some hold backs. As physical as the game has gotten the only 15 year old freshmen that can compete are those who started puberty at 12...

This is really more common then many people realize. If the state tournament printed birthdates(I know they won't) In the program I think more people would get a better idea how many 19 year olds are playing. For schools from rual areas this allows them to batch talent an stay away from those really down years. In many cases getting 3 full years of varsity play from a kid and in many cases getting 4 years. Im fine with the rule. Everyone has the same option to start their child when they think their ready. If you want to give them a head start athletically thats your choice.

If johnson for mc continues hitting shots I like mc chances. This makes Henry even tougher. Lc will have their hands full with Henry he is playing very well. With all that said I like lc an what they do every year. Their coach takes the team he is handed an makes them winners. Mason by 1. This should be the championship game based on the bracket setup.

Dunbar's stock is on the rise. It will interesting to see how they play once the xmas tournys are over. The 11th has more parity this year than I can remember in a long time.

This is the first game with the complete team minus Hall this season I believe. The HC game tonight is a big game for moco. Moco needs to get some quality wins against teams playing better than .500 ball. This game could move them up the pecking order in the 10th.

This is spot on imo. I really like Paris but at this point I would still have them below these 3. I also have paris at the top of the next group of teams.

This is an improving BC team. I like what Sosby is doing. I would add them to watch list if I was in their district.

With Paris currently being on the up swing, I'll have to go with hickory on this one. This is a very tough gig. Getting to the region is extremely hard. They need to get a young coach looking for a start. Stay clear of quick fixes and retreads.

Magic, Totally agree, not sure what Chalk was thinking, but I agree a bad choice of words. I would have liked to seen coach Brown get the job, but I wish coach Johnson nothing but the best. All the kids at Station deserve a quality coach.
