Seems like this decision is late on this.

Haven't heard anything about this?? Hasn't he been playing . If so wouldn't they have to forfeit the wins ?

Didn't play v Lafayette...I assume the ruling came after the Manual game.

Word on the street up here at the traditional bank Classic is that he is heading to PARIS KY for a late Christmas gift to them greyhounds........

I'm sure many won't agree with me, but I find it a little pathetic that a coach would go out of his way to make sure a kid isn't eligible at another school.

Dad lives in Harrison Co...Mom lives in Paris. Was ruled ineligible because although he lives with mom in Paris, dad has guardianship.

Mom would have to gain guardianship in order for that to happen, but a definite possibility and no way the HC coach could contest a ruling then.

Think of it this way, he is standing up for the other 11 guys that this player walked out on. He should have stayed at the school that he was attending at the beginning of the school year.

This young man learned a valuable lesson about playing by the rules.

If this is the case, he had no business playing for Scott County period.

Jenkins needs to e DQ'd for his lack of integrity to a fine Harrison County ball club that wasted time developing a system around him. I wish him luck but his next step should be college ball. My OP, that's tough young man but lessons need to be taught.

Didn't he transfer to Scott County over the summer?

He attended a couple of days at HC before going to SC this fall.

I don't know specifics about the move or how enrollment works in the Paris/Georgetown area and I have no clue why only one parent was a legal guardian and it's honestly none of my business. It just rubs me the wrong way that a coach would go out of their way to try and make sure a kid isn't eligible (on a technicality) because that kid left their school.

Maybe living with his mom was better for him? Only him and his parents know why he left the area for a different school and opportunity.

So a kid transfers and now we are questioning his integrity?
