Me 9 years now....:D But being a teacher I was off anyways.

I don't see how. I called today to order my State tourney tickets and it said they were closed for two weeks until Jan 5th. They send out these forms and close for two weeks. Geez!!!

They would have called a special session if this had been Cordia.

I heard there was a possibility that he may return to Harrison County and be ruled eligible to play immediately. I have no other details on it other than that.

It makes my head hurt to think about it.

I believe if he goes back to Harrison County he is eligible immediately.

Can you explain how, since he started the season at another school?

I don't know the specifics but unless I am mistaken if a kid transfers and is ruled ineligible then he can go back to the school he transferred from and be eligible again. The football player for Boone County comes to mind. He was ruled ineligible when he transferred to Covington Catholic. He went back to Boone County and regained his eligibility. Someone who has more knowledge of the rules can explain it better than I can.

A kid has to be eligible somewhere. If he isn't at the receiving school he can always go back to the sending school.

If he hadn't started playing games with the receiving school, I could almost see your point. That's where my issue is.

It definitely makes it complicated but if they have always allowed kids to go back to the sending school I don't see how they can rule him ineligible at Harrison County. Especially since he was initially allowed to play at Scott County and then ruled ineligible. I'll also add that I believe that even if he were ruled eligible at Harrison County it doesn't mean he would get to play. Ultimately that would be up to the coach.

Where is that game played? Should be interesting!

Anybody know why?
