Bourbon County job open

Featured Replies

Matthew Martin has been named the new Golf Coach at Morehead State. Who will Bourbon hire to replace him?

So happy for Matthew, in more ways than one.

It will be interesting to see who takes this job.

Has this become the worst job in central Kentucky? 10th region folks?

Awfully late in the game to be looking for a coach.

Yes it is, but don't blame Matthew for taking the MSU job. He taught PE at Bourbon, so I assume that job would be open.

What about David Miller? He was an assistant at MoCo last year. Has been head coach at Carol Co. and was assistant for Mike Flynn at Ashland. I believe he lives in Sharpsburg. HE has the experience. Not even sure he would be interested, just throwing out a name.

Don't know if I'd go that far.

But with the recent resurgence in the Colonels' football program, the success of the hoops program has been slow to follow.

It's bad, but probably not the worst.

That would be a great pick up for BC, but I don't see it happening.

I think it would be a great hire too, but didn't know if he would be interested. Is he teaching at MoCo?

How about Bob Eades? He lives in Bourbon County and is a retired educator. He could come back and coach and they would not have to hire a teacher this late in the game? Doesn't Bourbon County have some good nice young players?

This will be the fifth coach in five years, doesn't sound like a very stable job.

No way Kendall looks with what he has in the cupboard at Harrison.

With their administration rumored not to be the most supportive why would anyone want it?
