  1. No love for Jake Ohmer of Scott. The run he led the Eagles on was MAGICAL.
  2. My picks 1. McCracken County 2 Madisonville-North Hopkins 3 Hop-Town 4 Bowling Green 5 Bardstown 6 PRP 7 Ballard 8 South Oldham 9 Covington Catholic 10 GRC 11 Lexington Catholic 12 Lincoln County 13 South Laurel 14 Hazard 15 Johnson Central 16 Ashland
  3. If Hurt is concerned with a grad transfer, Nic Richards. and EJ then maybe he should please go somewhere where they hand out playing time!!
  4. Coach Ruthsatz (sp) from CovCath has to be in discussion.
  5. Had to be the worst shooting game for the Lady Pioneers. Beat of luck to Collins.
  6. Back to the question at hand...any names being thrown out? I have heard Coach Hamblin who was an assistant this year. I wonder if an ex-Devil like Dustin Trimnell who is an assistant coach @NCC or Jason Schwartz would be?
  7. I know some assistant coaches and former players that would stand up for him, behind him, or even in front of him.
  8. I know several assistant coaches that would!!
  9. He is the PERFECT COACH for this job. He would ask Coach Wimzie and then get Sam Elsbernd to come home from the Country.
  10. He needs to round out the other facets of his game...ball handling, passing, and rebounding. Great shooter, good player, and a phenomenal young man!
  11. I am a "Dayton" kid from the 90's. Dan was always willing to help out and never asked or demanded for anything in return. Dan would have and would give anyone person his last penny or the shirt off his back no matter if they were from Dayton or even Bellevue or worse...Beechwood. In all seriousness, Dan is a great person!
  12. I was on the Dayton coaching staff a couple years ago when we were up 14-7 at halftime against Beechwood. The ball bounced our way every single play. At halftime we could hear the players saying it is a matter of time before they wake up. The final was 56-21. I was also on the 96 Dayton team that had the Tigers on the ropes in the Regional Final. I will root for the fellow River City team but unfortunately for the River City schools it is a HUGE mental block to get past. Best of luck to both teams: players, staffs, and fans/families.
