Best Players in 9th Region History
No love for Jake Ohmer of Scott. The run he led the Eagles on was MAGICAL.

Open Job: Dayton
Back to the question at hand...any names being thrown out? I have heard Coach Hamblin who was an assistant this year. I wonder if an ex-Devil like Dustin Trimnell who is an assistant coach @NCC or Jason Schwartz would be?

Open Job: Holmes
I know some assistant coaches and former players that would stand up for him, behind him, or even in front of him.

Open Job: Holmes
I know several assistant coaches that would!!

Open Job: Holmes
He is the PERFECT COACH for this job. He would ask Coach Wimzie and then get Sam Elsbernd to come home from the Country.

Tommy Ratterman Bellevue HS Single-season 3pt record
He needs to round out the other facets of his game...ball handling, passing, and rebounding. Great shooter, good player, and a phenomenal young man!

Dan Frank - Reconginized at Dayton High School last night - 45 years!
I am a "Dayton" kid from the 90's. Dan was always willing to help out and never asked or demanded for anything in return. Dan would have and would give anyone person his last penny or the shirt off his back no matter if they were from Dayton or even Bellevue or worse...Beechwood. In all seriousness, Dan is a great person!

1A #1 Beechwood vs. 1A #6 Ludlow
I was on the Dayton coaching staff a couple years ago when we were up 14-7 at halftime against Beechwood. The ball bounced our way every single play. At halftime we could hear the players saying it is a matter of time before they wake up. The final was 56-21. I was also on the 96 Dayton team that had the Tigers on the ropes in the Regional Final. I will root for the fellow River City team but unfortunately for the River City schools it is a HUGE mental block to get past. Best of luck to both teams: players, staffs, and fans/families.

Brad Carr out at Scott?
Very sad day to the majority of Scott H.S., Taylor Mill, & NKY. It is sad that a group of people who disagreed with Playing time took the initiative to cost a great coach his job. The only people who win from this is the people of Campbell Co. H.S.. Brossart, and the other 10th Region teams who dreaded drawing Coach Carr's Eagles in the postseason. What example is set to the student-athletes? Meaning: how about earning something and not feeling entitled that people owe you something. The athletes have learned that it if you cry and complain enough that outweighs just working hard and earning it. Coach Carr has done more with that program that any, ANY coach could do. Yes, were there some very talented teams, for sure. However, there were some very challenged teams that got into the Regional Tournament and advanced. Scott returns some pieces, but this could be the slow demise of a respected program.
