  1. Apollo was picked by many in the Sweet 16 challenge, including myself
  2. West Liberty State which is where Silver Grove alum Corey Peele went to and starred. Corey and Bach are very similar players.
  3. Congrats to Ben Osbourne. Seems like the entire Senior class is going there.
  4. 1 - Graves County 2 - Hopkinsville 3 - Apollo 4 - Warren Central 5 - Elizabethtown 6 - PRP 7 - Ballard 8 - Collins 9 - Newport Central Catholic 10 - Montgomery County 11 - Scott County 12 - Wayne County 13 - Jackson County 14 - Knott County Central 15 - Johnson Central 16 - Fleming County TB#1 12th Region TB#2 8th Region
  5. Scott lost to Cooper on a really bad call and to Brossart by 1 and it took a half-court heave. Then destroyed SK. Hopefully they are peaking at the right time now that Schneider is 100%. Good luck to all 9th region teams and not so good luck to 10th region excluding the Eagles.
  6. I have seen the replay over and over again. The ball never hit the glass. All would be for NO argument if the violation was called. The violation was the player who scored the winning basket was outside the lane prior to the free throw. The player entered the the scoring area (inside the 3 point lane) when the shot left the hands of the foul shout. Therefore, violation!! When the staff asked the officials about who was watching this, the head official said he was suppose to but watched the clock instead. The player crossed right in front of him. However, great execution and would be a mute point if Scott rebounds the ball and makes their free throws. Good luck to both in the post season.
  7. Here is an update from OHSAA. Any student-athlete who transfers schools must sit out one complete semester. So an entire year is not lost but a half is. Also many schools is Ohio are pay to play, meaning you have to pay $500 per sport to play and there are no discounts for multiple sports or ig you have a sibling playing as well.
  8. In Ohio, where I coached for 2 years, an athlete must sit one year mandatory no matter the reason if they transfer! This is how it should be in Kentucky. Look at the top teams in the state and show me a team that doesn't have at least 2 transfers! There is a really, really good team in the 10th Region that starts 4 transfers!
  9. CovCath eliminated Scott last night. #20 is very, very good. I would venture to say he would start for allog about 3 schools in NKY?
  10. It was one guy throwing the object. it was very poor judgement but please don't place the majority in the minority.
  11. Alex Trentman, 6'6'' Forward who does it all. He can handle and shoot the rock, is a force on the glass with many exciting put-back dunks last year, and is a phenomenal defensive player.
  12. Love how the Fighting Brad Carr's of Scott get ZERO respect!!
  13. I know they have already scrimmaged Oyler High (Ohio) last week.
  14. My hopes: 1A: Anyone other than Beechwood. Being from a small school in NKY. I just like seeing them lose. However, Coach Rash is a great teacher of the game and person. 2A: NCC: Would like for the coach who has given so much to the program get one as the "head" guy. 3A: Central: like a dynasty, and a good friend is from Central. 4A: Highlands: like a dynasty and it is a NKY school 5A: South Oldham : Their kids play with class and character. 6A: Simon Kenton: UKFan would never let anyone live it down. SK could lose 50 straight and he would still let you know who won the 2013 6A championship and that Kuntz was best QB in the state, EVER!! He would haunt BGP forever.
  15. A lot can happen in the off season: transfers, weight room, and growing. Let's debate this in June or July.
  16. Johnson Central has had the Colonels number recently and I think it continues this year.
  17. with "primetime" going down for Frankfort, i will take the Tigers.
  18. 1. Alabama 2. Florida State 3. Stanford 4. Ohio State 5A. Baylor 5B. Jacksonville Jaquars
