Two things:

1. With a 11/5 advantage in 1st place votes, did some coaches vote NewCath really low that they and CovCath are only separated by 2 pts.?

2. With all due respect to my Brossart friends, but a 1st place vote?

Seems about right to me.

My only question would be SK. Lost 6 of 8 .

Not sure how that warrants top 10.

Scott lost to Cooper on a really bad call and to Brossart by 1 and it took a half-court heave. Then destroyed SK. Hopefully they are peaking at the right time now that Schneider is 100%. Good luck to all 9th region teams and not so good luck to 10th region excluding the Eagles.

Once again something is amiss. Same coach that has been randomly voting Holmes or anyone but NCC or Cov Cath #1? My guess is one coach gave Brossart his first place vote hoping it would tilt the pendulum the other way?

11 first place votes = 110

5 second place votes = 45

1 fifth place vote for 5 points would be 160??

Somebody has an issue with coach Dawn's team!

Brossart is better than Dixie.

Maybe. Maybe not. I'll give Dixie the edge due to their schedule.

Brossart's schedule is not nearly as strong as Dixie's.

Can't argue one way or the other. Brossart was 7-2 against common opponents and Dixie was 6-3. Both had losses to NCC and Holmes. Dixie also lost to CampCo early in the season.

Interesting that they had that many common opponents.

Dixie lost to Holmes by 8.

Again, BB may be able to beat them. It would be a fun game to watch.

If you made me pick today I'd say Dixie would get the W but nothing other than a blowout either way would surprise me.

I've not seen Dixie play other than in a scrimmage.

I agree,,BB has to much size

They do have size. They do not have "too much" size though for Dixie.

Drew Burns is a STRONG big with good size. Hedger has similar size and strength.

The super-talented Trentman is a perimeter player. Strong outside game. Can put it on the floor. He doesn't post up much from when I've watched so his size is somewhat negated.

Dixie has size. They have Hedger, Bolin, and Neihaus.

The difference in the theoretical game IMO would be Dixie's guards/perimeter game as well as their depth (and I'm assuming the Jennings kids playing).

It would be a fun game.
