I received an e-mail from AD Andrew Wise that Ludlow is now open.

Interested candidates please e-mail him at [email protected].

They really don't get any classier than Coach Wofford.

Coach Wofford is a great guy. Those boys were lucky to have him.

Wish Coach Wofford the best , great guy and an outstanding family, he will be missed in the coaching field.

As others have already said I also wish Coach Wofford the best. He has done a great job with both the Ludlow girls and boys programs, and was a great coach and even a better person! The players were lucky to have him!

Classy individual and great family. They are dedicated to Ludlow Schools!

Per the Scott thread, Chris Stapleton is an applicant. Any other names currently floating out there?

Sam Elsbernd applied another Scott assistant. With him growing up in Covington Turners seems he would have good relationships with some Ludlow pepole and a good fit.

Guy from Community Christian also has name in mix per former player of his.

25-30 applicants in the first couple days. Some really good basketball coaches threw their names in the hat. Anxious to see how this all plays out!

Will Coach Gray be one of them?

So per this thread and a couple other sources, here's what I have on applicants so far:

David Pope (Community Christian)

Rick Shumate

Sam Elsbernd

Chris Stapleton

That only leaves 21-26 unknowns

No offense but that is a lot of applicants for Ludlow, crazy
