Seems like a very solid player. Definitely has all the tools you can ask for of a high school guard. Hope he does well at the next level as well, as I look forward to seeing him there in a few years. :thumb:

This comment is not specifically about the young man mentioned above rather it is a comment on what is becoming more the norm with high school athletes. A 17 year old is not really a sophmore. I was 17 when I graduated from high school. A year or two makes a huge difference at this stage in life. What is the cut off date for how old you can be to play high school sports?

You can't turn 19 before august 1st of your senior year. Peyton like many others will be 18 on august 1st and turn 19 soon after of his sr year starts.

KHSAA Bylaw 2--a student who becomes nineteen (19) years old before August 1 shall be ineligible for interscholastic athletic competition.

I watched him last night against Casey County. He Has good size and strength but if he is 17 already as soph he is probably done growing. He didn't guard anybody all night in the half court. His coach is doing him no favors by hiding him in a zone. I hope the Travelers coach makes him defend. He cherry picked a lot, never went to the defensive glass but with their size he really didn't have to. Clemson is a stretch for him.

A 15 year old soph has more potential to grow than a 17 year old. Wouldn't you agree?
