10th Region Parity

Featured Replies

It looks like there are a handful of teams who can take the Region this year. I have noticed these teams pulling off nice wins thus far. Harrison Co, Montgomery Co, Mason Co, Scott, Augusta, and the defending champ Campbell Co.

At this point in the season is there a clear cut team that looks the best and out of the teams mentioned who has the most upside to peak later in the year?

Mason an campbell are clear favorites at this time.

Based on how teams improved in past years I would say scott an grc have a lot of upside.

Paris is an unknown. This is brooks best team since he took over. They have some nice wins early but its not march. I would watch them, but winning 1 game verse stringing 3 together is another ball game.

If grc can find scoring on a regular basis (3 games in a row) I like their chances.

1a. Campbell

1a. Mason

2a. Grc

2a. Paris

3a. Scott, harrison

Clark County defeated previously unbeaten Owen County by 10 points and the aforementioned Scott High.

IMHO, Campbell, Mason and Clark are a cut above the rest of the region.

the aforementioned Scott High.

Without Scott's top returning player from a season ago. Scott has lost a lot of games without Blake Schneider on the floor.

Having said that, I agree with Papa that Campbell, Mason, & GRC are a cut above the rest of the teams. And I think when it comes down to it, we'll either see the Camels or Royals in Rupp.

Believe Scott is:

4-1 with Schnieder

3-4 without him

That sounds about right. :thumb:

I really think there are 2 teams that are better than the rest of the pack - Mason County and Campbell County.

Clark County is not the same team from its 2.games played in NKY against Dixie and Scott.

Coach Humphrey and the Cardinals have found the correct RPM to take their game to a couple of gears higher.

IMHO, Campbell, Mason and Clark are a cut above the rest of the region.

And Scott will be there.

Just don't know enough about Paris yet.
