GRC scrimmaged Harrison County at Frankfort's grid so I see this as an evenly matched game.

MoCo will have the home field advantage. This rival game is always a good one. Believe GRC just may win this one.

My prediction

There is not much interest in this game.

If MC can control the clock via the run (Jake Harvey) game, and Mason Gooch continues to be a tackling machine, they have a good chance. Since coach Whitaker's return the offence has been much more balanced.

 

 

With that said,

GRC has played a much tougher schedule at this point. I'll go with GRCby 3. (GRC27 - MoCo 24)

 

This will be MoCo's first real test.

That is interesting considering that they played Collins tough until the end.

Collins didn't appear to have their "A" when MoCo played them IMO.

 

They may improve a lot by seasons end but this first game neither team played particularly well.

Regardless, GRC will need to play lights out since Moco started the 2015 campaign on fire.

If the line can protect Walker and he does not take unnecessary sacks M.C. wins by 20.

Now that Whitaker is calling the offence , teams won't be able to blitz every play. Walkers pass attempts will go down but his completions % should go up and his sack total should go down.

 

Moco must try to establish the run if they want to be successful.
