Not if they have the same coach guiding them. I saw them a few times this year. They looked different every time. Odd substitutions, questionable strategy. I enjoyed watching them when Barr was there. I'd often drive a little further to see them play. Those teams were tough. The Bullitt East that I've seen the last two years has been very soft.

I don't think the plan was all that complicated. Trinity decided they weren't going to let Eaves or Perry beat them. Offensively, Ballard has really been a 2 man team this year, with all other points coming by committee. I don't really disagree with the game plan, but I disagree with not making the adjustment once Ballard didn't seem phased. Wilson stepped up huge for Ballard.

North Laurel just wasn't any good all year. At some point you have to live up to the hype. This team is allegedly full of D1 talent, but have under a .500 record and can't get past the first round of district play.

It could definitely help some teams that were in desperate need of getting their legs back. On the other hand, it could hurt some teams that had begun to find a rhythm

Hoop Dreams seems to build teams the right way. I saw your 16 and 17 teams play last year in Louisville. Goodin has played there all except last year, correct? What do the rosters for your other high school teams look like?

Bullitt East has won 5 in a row against what type of teams? Shelby County? North Bullitt? Christian Academy? JTown? Dixie Heights is more inconsistent than Bullitt East, so you can't judge there.

I agree. Bellarmine could definitely compete in the smaller D1 conferences. If Bellarmine and NKU played, I'd have Bellarmine favored by double digits.

This is why Trinity is the best team in the state. Shots don't always fall, but you can always guard.

I believe we can win it. Senior leadership is strong for this team. We do have a lack of size. To beat Oldham you're going to have to be making shots. But it can be done.

Coach Gaither seems to have the boys peaking at the right time. Wins over a couple of good 7th region teams recently will help going into the postseason.

The new coach at Whitefield has certainly turned some heads this year. With it being a private school, I'm interested to see how they can build on this. Will they adopt a booster program like some of the other schools have? They're located in a hot bed of talent.

After their beat down of a good Doss team, Trinity may have gained their edge back a little. I'd be surprised if this is close.
