The Shamrocks travel to Lexington to take on Henry Clay. Trinity seems to be playing a little better after the loss to Central in LIT.

From what I've seen from the two teams I'd expect a 15+ point win for Trinity. I'm hopeful though that the Henry Clay/Ballard game wasn't a fluke and Henry Clay makes it a good game.

I'm a proud Henry Clay graduate from the early '70s and wish I could get down to Lexington to see this one! Any Blue Devils recall HCHS great Michael Scearce? I was wondering what happened with him after college. Never heard of him again. Any information appreciated! Thanks.

After their beat down of a good Doss team, Trinity may have gained their edge back a little. I'd be surprised if this is close.

I would think this would be a competitive game.

 

The Blue Devils do not have the overall talent they have had in the last couple of years, but they will play very hard tonight.

 

Raymond Spalding's length will bother them inside. I look for Isaiah Tisdale to have a monster game tonight. He fouled out last night and was a little off his game, so I look for a focused effort this evening.

 

This game (like the Ballard game), will be a nice gauge of where Henry Clay stands versus the elite teams in the state of Kentucky.

28-27 Trinity at the half. Henry Clay has played tough. Tisdale has played well, 11 pts. Felix Wilson hit a three at the buzzer for HC. Jordan Houston has done well, I think he has 8 points. Has hit three baseline jumpers to get away from Spalding inside. Speaking of Spalding, he has blocked a ton of shots. A couple were volleyball spikes. D'Angelo West had 9 pts for Trinity.

No. 2 Trinity beats No. 18 Henry Clay 62-53. Christian Thieneman 19 pts, Ray Spalding 8 pts, 16 rebs for Trinity.
