Which kids, which coaches or schools are they hearing from?

Heard McDonald just won a youth tourney a few weeks ago by like 10 storkes. Kid can play. Nice hoopster too.

I don't think that was the case. A dad wanted football so his son could play and started the program. IMO they jumped into it too quick and should have built it from the feeder up. Did hear rumors some upperclassman may be playing after taking a year or two off?

May not even be the best player on Campbell County's team. Kid needs to play under control a little more but has a big upside.

I agree the future is bright, but not sure how high the ceiling really is.

He shot about 44% from the field and I'm guessing there is not another PG in Ky that took as many shots as he did. Well over 500. I loved how he averaged around 5 boards a game.

Are people picking Brossart because they think they are better or do they just hate MoCo?? Montgomery County will win this game because of Wallace. Moco by 8 and it will be their closet contest as they go on to win the region.

It really depends on which Cooper team shows up. Dixie has been playing very well lately. I'm guessing the good Cooper shows up but the hot Dixie team wins by 5.

I'm assuming this was a jab at me so I'll bite. He is averaging 16 shots a game and he took 18 last night??? I don't think I'd have an issue with him shooting as much if he stroked it for those % every night. looks like he had an off night from the line as well? He normally shoots 76.5% from the line. You need to chill about your home boy. I mention he is one of the best of the region, make a side comment about being selfish and you think I'm a hater. I love his game. He is a great player and a pleasure to watch. Brings an extremely high energy level to the game. Sometimes teams need a player that forces some shots, it creates extra pressure on the defense and opens it up for the others. No doubt he is the leader of the team. One thing I did fail to mention in my stats recap was how many rebounds he gets for a guard. He is 3rd on the team only off of the leaders by 1 rebound per game. Once again proves his high energy level. Good luck to the Blue Colonels. They have the tools to make it to the promised land! And if so, Nick should get the POY in the 9th.

I watched the matchup of Augusta and Brossart at NKU. That one game as a comparison you would have to go with Trentman. He had over 30 and was all over the court. I think in the 10th though a lot of teams don't get to see Brossart or Campbell County and would go with the big stats players or the player from the team that goes the farthest. Pulled up stats from KHSAA, not sure how accurate they are as only partial numbers were posted for 2 of the teams? Trentman has scored 20.7 PPG and he is averaging 8.7 rebounds. His shooting % is 64.3% from the field and 48% from 3 point range. Pretty impressive. I've not seen Walace play but he too has strong numbers. 18 PPG, 55.5% from the field, 41.5% behind the arc. 4.6 boards. With 3 other guys on his team that average double figures PPG (not rounded up). Cisero has not been mentioned but noticed he is 13 PPG 63.9% and 8 boards per game. He has only attempted 3 treys and lacks a bit from the line 55%. Bach averages an amazing 30 PPG and 5.4 boards per game. Shooting is 59% from the field and 33% from way back. Mason has Shawn Johnson that averages a double double at 13.8 and 10.3. Shoots 61.4% from the field. 0-7 from threesville. Seems like Holbrook has not had the year I was thinking he would have, but I could not locate stats for Camp Co. Not sure of others in the 10th, but had the KHSAA website open so I played around a bit. I may head over to Alexandria tonight for the Mason County/Brossart game.

He has taken twice as many shots as any other team member which does not include his foul shots 381-172 He has taken 175 foul shots, next closest is Schuh at 63 attempts. He has the worse shooting % among the starters. at 44%. He has taken 30 more 3's than any other player and is shooting 36.4%. Heppler is at 50%. As for double digit scorers, according to KHSAA, Heppler is at 10.3 PPG only other player to have double digits. Great player, needs to be mentioned as one of the best and often a role of a player may just be where he has to create things to open the door for others. I've seen him play and I think my numbers back up my comment.

Augusta and Harrison both did in fact play very hard schedules. Question is did they win any of those hard games? I've yet to see Montgomery County, but from what I've heard, they are double digit favorites against any one else in the region.

Hatton is the best player in the 9th. His supporting cast is the weakest and he continues to post solid numbers. I don't think he will get POY because his team will not go down state. The person who leads his team probably wins the prize. Bolden is right behind Hatton. Does it all and turns it on when he has to. Has the best shot at POY. Ruthatz has the ball in his hands the majority of the time. I personally think he is a little selfish and forces shots. He has a better shot than Hatton of getting POY because his numbers on paper and his teams chances of winning the 9th. McDonald pours out steady stats every game, his problem with winning POY is that his team has so many weapons that his numbers may not reflect how good he is and how much he helps the team. Great example is Pangallo winning MVP of the all A. Drew had solid games, but it seemed like a different player stepped up every game. I want him on my team though he is not a flashy as the other 3, he is a better teammate. That may hurt his chances for an award.

NCC starts 2 from St. Joes, 1 From St Therese, 1 from Walton and 1 from Highlands. First off the bench will be one from Walton and one from St Catherine I think? Does not look like the issue with NCC being a 10 point + favorite is the turf war of St. Joes kids.
