Who wins and why?

DIxie beat Conner 81-62 during the regular season.

Brandon Hatton needs just 6 points to reach the 3,000 point club.

I didn't see the Conner game earlier this year but I look for Dixie to win again.

Hatton will get his to put him over the 3,000 point mark and Austin Schreck has been playing extremely good basketball lately. With Schreck and Daria being other scoring options, it has taken some of the focus off of Hatton. That's not forgetting how good Hedger, Bolin and Niehaus have played down low down the stretch. Rabe has done a solid job running the point and I look for that to continue.

Hemmerich and Lamblez have been tough lately, coming from way behind to beat Cooper. I'm going for the upset. Connor by 3.

Not sure who Connor is but if he's playing by himself, good luck!! Ha.

Welcome to the site.

My hunch is Dixie by double digits. I expect Hatton will be motivated to make a run in his last 9th region tourney.

Welcome to BGP, NKOTB!

I really hope Dixie does not take Conner lightly. Being overconfident would be a bad, bad thing. Hopefully the coaches recognize this and have the boys' heads screwed on right.

With that said, I like Dixie's chances because of their experience playing 2 games at the BOK within the last 2 years... with one just a couple weeks ago. Stepping out on that big college floor, in front of that big crowd can get in a kid's head real quick.

Thank you Hoops5, that is nice of you. Like many newbies I'm sure, I have been reading for years and just decided the time was right to jump into the action.

Glad you did.

Wow...that's just incredible, no matter how you slice it. Congrats to the young man.

Thank you to you and Clyde, I never envisioned anyone would care enough to welcome me to the site. That is very much appreciated.

Well hell, I'll join the "three amigos" and say, "welcome to the fray". :thumb:
