Curious to know if it was a clean game? Saw some chatter about a lot of technicals during the season? Congrats to Highlands for hanging on to win and hats off to Dayton for playing hard and not giving up.

Well said! Having a team is great, but the key is to get kids to join and believe in the team.

Highlands will take care of business by 20. I hope the comments of Dayton players playing a little "harder" than they should is not true. I would expect coach Dilts would not allow that to happen.

Which show kid are you talking about? I watched the nkysports webcast and saw a lot of jawing going on for both teams. The classic was when the kid from NCC was running his mouth and ran into the defensive kid resulting in a charge at mid court.

I know you were not there, but giving up 61 does not sound like lock down defense for a high school game. Granted Boone can get to the basket in a hurry. This great effort by the Tigers just adds another threat to someones "lock" for post season play.

This should be a wild one. Brossart won a close one on a nuetral court. I don't think either team is playing their best ball right now. I would think New Cath may have the edge at home, but if Brossart has gotten back to the basics and can limit New Cath's scoring like they did the other night to the "u" less Thorobreds, they could pull it out. Both teams have some solid upperclassman and the wild card is the youth of both teams.

Curious as to why you start this thread, don't list your favorite, than chime in? 3311 and Iron lung were old enough to remember him as am I. Great coach and a great person. I still see him lurking around the basketball courts today. Seems like he stopped coaching way too early.

Holy Cross is putting it to Camp. Co. tonight, last I heard it was 66-34. Both Dixie and Holy Cross playing well currently.

Can we get box scores for this game? I'd love to know who the SK shooters are and last time I saw NCC JV's Schulte was only varsity and they had 2 kids with ties on sitting on the bench that looked like they could contribute.

Bad combination of a team that is trying to make the move up to NKAC D2 and a team that should have probably stayed in D3.

They are a solid team this year that no one is giving much credit to.
