What Does Everyone think of this First round matchup?

Highlands has had a tough year but they have played a much tougher schedule than the smaller Class A Dayton and their overall size and strength should pose major problems for Dayton.

As Long as the Birds dont allow the Greendevils to get hot from the perimeter this should be a 15 Pt win for Highlands.

This is a fun time of the year. I think most teams play a little better. I have heard that Dayton had 26 technical fouls called on them this year. Is that accurate? Highlands just needs to relax and play as a team and they could make a little noise. Assuming they get by Dayton they'll need to start knocking a few 3's down to open things up inside.

Q this is the Price is Right prediction thread so I'll say the Bird's by 16.

Highlands by18

I heard they like to foul. 26 Technicals is ridiculous.

I would expect Dayton to go zone so a Big inside out game will be key. Turner was hot the other night, Lets hope Lewis and Witte can knock down some treys as Well.

Well........I am picking the Bluebirds especially off the huge win over Beechwood on Friday...................That being said I am hoping Dayton can get this into a uptempo situation with forcing Highlands guards to handle the ball agiainst pressure.

Is this really true? The original post was that somebody heard they had 26 techinicals....................Not saying one way or the other but can this be confirmed?

All I know is in the Lloyd and Ludlow games they were guilty of some blatant intentional fouls per the films. I mean lowering shoulders to get through picks and trailers taking kids out on layups. The refs better be ready for some activity tonight especially if the Birds get up early.

Try to get a comfortable lead and get the starters out of the game.

That is the goal. Houliston is out with calf injury and Witte is nursing a bruised hip. They will come out hungry I can gurantee that though.

Riherds only goes back to 1999 but Dayton hasnt won a District game in atleast 12 years. Before that I have no clue. That is a long run without a win.

Highlands will take care of business by 20. I hope the comments of Dayton players playing a little "harder" than they should is not true. I would expect coach Dilts would not allow that to happen.
