Baseball Nut 24
One of the strangest polls I think I have ever seen at the top. Take a look at who got the 13 first-place votes and total votes overall....Interesting.

Take a look at who got the 13 first-place votes and total votes overall....Interesting. Probably not this simple, but it looks like the other six coaches that didn't vote HC #1 voted them 4th. Again, not that simple. Boone on the other 12 ballots, got all but one or two of the 2nd place votes in the poll.
Omega Man
I guess the coaches either loved or hated Holy Cross and Dixie??? 13 coaches voted--out of how many potential?
statman
Do not quote me on this, but I think the eligible voting schools are in Boone, Campbell, Grant, and Kenton counties. By my count, that is 29 eligible voters.

statman
13 is the most voters the poll has had all year. Both this week's and last week's poll had 13.
Voice of Reason
I agree, that is a strange looking poll, but I can't disagree with the results. I honestly think Dixie is #1 but Boone Co. beat them on Friday. 1. Boone has the most top ten wins (6 TIE) and wins over teams 2 thru 5 but lost to 6 & 7; 6-3 vs the top ten. 2. Dixie has 6 top ten wins also but lost to Boone; didn't play Holy Cross; 6-1 vs the top ten. 3. Holy Cross has the best record but lost to 1 & 5; 6-2 vs top ten. 4. Simon Kenton went 3-3 vs top ten. 5. Holmes went 4-4 versus the top ten. 6. CCH went 3-5 vs top ten. 7. NCC went 4-5 vs. top ten. 8. Brossart has 20 wins and went 2-3 vs top ten. 9. Campbell County was 2-7 vs. top ten. 10. Cooper was 3-6 versus top ten with wins over Boone, Simon Kenton and Holmes.
