Donovan was a difference maker. That is not to say that Patrick would not have made a play, only that Donovan did. Patrick made some great plays to bring the Birds back before being injured as well. Patrick is a leader. He should be in at QB if healthy. The defense will need some adjustments against JC IMO. Would like to see Nienaber in at LB a little more. Anyone else pick up on that tonight? They will need some help at LB, more size, next Friday. Would expect to see more 4 man front too. Just my opinion.

Agreed! Towles is a fabulous talent, I hope he is ok. Donovan can flat out carry the rock!! The options with those two in the game together are unlimited. Who would be the back up QB though? Do you risk injury with both? Will it matter? Patrick may be injured. I hope not. Hope to see Pat on the field leading the Birds next Friday night.

No "panties in a wad" here. Simple question. Rationale to back it up. Why the attitude? If 8-10 people would dispute that Highlands should be in the top 3, in most years, and for the purposes of this thread, this year, then those people are obviously not paying attention. If you are talking about this year....Let's let the playoffs play out this year. I think Trinity is the best team in KY this year. I also believe that Ryle will be a force to be reckoned with before it is all over. I think SK is over-rated. I do not think that St. X is top 3, but top 5. I think that Bell and Boyle, while quality programs, are top 10, maybe even top 5-7, but not top 3.
