  1. But CCH never runs up the score........That is according to threads in another post.....Must have been agreed to prior to the game......Hmmmmm
  2. What are you suggesting? Go Birds....Beat Colonels!
  3. Gold was awesome tonight!! Patrick, not to shabby either. The D really played well tonight as well. Next up- Go Birds.....Beat Colonels!!
  4. Me too. Outside of the St X game HHS starters have not played much more than a half in every game. Last night, some starters did not play at all and others were out, for good, in the 2nd qtr.. Hope the Birds can keep it close. Go Birds....Beat Colonels!!!!
  5. T does not play Highlands in a "real" game. Had 5 or 6 plays each ways during a scrimmage earlier in the season...Ended in a tie as T scored on the last play of the scrimmage. Not much to go by.
  6. One more thing.....Next week should be a good one!! Hopefully all of the starters will be back....Go Birds....Beat Colonels!!
  7. Birds looked good, although there were more than a couple starters that did not see much playing time due to some nagging injuries. Just plug in another part and keep on rolling. Dixie really struggled. Seemed to me that Dixie may have had 30 total kids....Not many on the sideline. Based on the size of that school, would have expected more.
  8. Never heard of any of them. This should be a good game!
  9. Wow! Great game by Cooper!
  10. Final from Conner...HHS 46--Conner 6. Another very good performance by the frosh Birds. Worked on a lot of different things tonight. Next up....Beat Colonels!!
  11. Ryle over Conner 13-12 in closing moments of the game.
  12. CC v HHS Frosh has been moved to HHS I am told. Go Birds! Beat Cougars!
  13. 31 is Jalen Hayes and 28 is Thomas Wrobleski. This team is 4-6 deep at running back. Top to bottom, this is a strong team. This class is going to be fun to watch for the next 3+ years. Next up....Beat Cougars!
  14. You are right. Most were well after the Birds had built a nice lead though....Pretty sure the Birds were willing to take that at that point of the game. Keeping everything in front of them...Except the one nice long route/throw in the 4th.
  15. Nice observation. The Birds kept a "spy" back there, the D ends maintained outside control...Did a nice job keeping him in the pocket for the most part. That really limited his ability to pick up any real yardage on the ground.
  16. I thought Towles, True and Streeter ran the ball extremely well tonight. Particularly with all the injuries in the second half. Obviously Withrow was very concerned with Pat's big arm. A couple of his runs, the DB's had their back to him, chasing the receivers, resulted in big runs, 40+ yards before they turned around. Of course the O line and receivers blocking down field helped tonight as well.
  17. I know Hays, Greene and Plau scored. Not sure who else.
  18. 9/15 @ Cooper 9/23 @ Conner 9/30 Dixie 10/6 @ Cov Cath 10/14 Ryle 10/21 NCC 10/28 Frosh Championship Game
  19. Another nice outing by the Baby Birds. Boone County had some nice size boys, but the speed of the Birds was the difference tonight. Another good outing for the Birds. Nice team effort tonight. Great runs, great runs after catch and the blocking was fantastic down field. The defense was stout. Linemen held the line and linebackers finished them off. It was an all-around nice outing. Next up....Cooper.
