  1. I do not believe Beau will see the field as a quarterback. If he does, it will be as a senior (barring injury). JMHO
  2. He is not that tall. He might weigh 175 though. Will be interesting to see how he progresses.
  3. Both are going to be very good quarterbacks. I believe it is Donvans job to lose next year. Drew should take over as a senior. I do look for Drew to contibute next year some where.
  4. Drew has the tools. Very smart kid. Honestly, has the build of Pat as a soph.. I am looking forward to seeing Drew lead the Birds to yet another state title. The sophomore class is as good as there has been at HHS (IMHO). They will be fun to watch.
  5. Really? A 7 point game (after free throws)....If the T is called: HHS with free throws and the ball..20ish seconds left I believe....Maybe decided, maybe not. Regardless, it was a good game to watch. Both teams played well. Congrats to the Mustangs and best of luck to both teams the rest of the season.
  6. Sorry, but even worse if it was a dead ball...In that case a technical. He was swinging them all night. Should have been warned prior to that incident. Intentional, or not, dead ball, or not, it was a foul...His 5th I might add. Might have changed things...I had not dog in the fight...Just calling it like I saw it. If he had been warned earlier in the game, when he hit a couple of other kids with those elbows, perhaps it would not have come to that. That said, the kid is recovering. No serious damage. Best wishes to him on a speedy recovery.
  7. This is a young Birds team. Only 3 seniors. The experience should lend itself well to the future. The soph and junior classes are strong, with good numbers. They should get plenty of varsity experience this season. That said, Pat and Carter will be a welcome addition for the remainder of this year.
  8. You're right!! I agree 100%!! We moved to Fort Thomas when my son was 2!! Go Birds! Beat Wildcats!!
  9. I believe that when the scrimmage is held at one site, regardless of how many teams, the time limit kicks in. Thus, same site, "one" scrimmage as long as they stay within the time limit. So, today, counted as "one" scrimmage although they played 2 teams.
  10. heard...21 carries, 98 yards for JJ. Go Birds! Beat Colonels!!
  11. Verst is going to be a really good player for BB this year. Hatton is the class of the NKY soph class IMO. But Verst will be one to watch for sure. HHS has a few quality sophs that will suit up this year and provide quality minutes. They include, True, Hergott, Greene, Hope, Buten, Harris, Houliston to name a few...
  12. I believe the appearances count this year. They have not lost YET this year...Correct me I am wrong. Go Birds!!
  13. I guess Holmes onside kick to start the game was "respectful" as well...Go away...Find another thread and bash someone else.
  14. Somebody correct me if I am wrong, but I believe this game was/is scheduled for Thursday night....HHS Varsity plays at Pendleton County on Thursday night....Thus the move to a different day this week for the frosh.
