YES!, but the score may be higher this time. This will be Boyle Co.'s last home game this year and I look for them to be focused and sharp.:thumb:

I wish I could be as optimistic as you guys. I have a fear that Rebel Land is overlooking the Knights. (I arrive at this because we beat them so badly the first time and today is the first time this thread started and that's awfully late for such a big game. )

 

It seems Lex Cath is playing better ball right now and this will be a test if Boyle can be the machine their predecessors have been.

I'd take that it in a heartbeat! This will be the 4th. year in a row that Boyle and Lexington Catholic has played in the playoffs.

This is the playoffs. I can promise everyone that Boyle County is not overlooking Lexington Catholic. Now, the Knights have had a nice season but they aren't going to rain on the Rebels parade. However, fear Lexington Catholic over the next couple of seasons because they are going to be loaded.

 

I'll take Boyle County 45-7.

Boyle by 3 TDs, they are a much better team. Boyle would have to have a complete meltdown Friday for them to lose. Lex Cath can't go any further in the playoffs without more juniors and seniors. You have to have the older kids to compete against the really good teams.

These and many other reasons not yet expressed justify LC being hit with a cannon shot directly between the eyes and Boyle moving forward to argue with Dudley's dorighters for the 4A crown. That premise being established and laid out there is precisely why we will all make the trek to Danville and watch the game. That is what makes high school football great. We will even endure whatever surprises the Boyle student body and fan supporters leave on the bleachers. We will even stipulate that the Boyle administration knows nothing about it and does not tolerate such actions-that doesn't require them to come up with another "whopper". On the game front, BC is not unbeatable...they are a very talented and well disciplined team on the field..they make very few mistakes and work hard to make you eat yours...nonetheless, I will be there to witness a near perfect machine struggle when a couple of bolts come loose, and the machine loses its' game face...Catholic is a good football team and is capable of knocking off Boyle...sometimes, when a sure thing is virtually guaranteed, the most unexpected outcomes suddenly might become real...high school football...it's the greatest show on earth...see you there.

I hope whoever did that to the visitors stands stays far away this Friday. Very embarrassing moment for Boyle County fans. Good luck.
