If LC does pull it out, it will be the upset of the year, but I think I could handle it. Seriously, they have a tremendous program with great coaching and great kids in the skill positions. I think their most valuable players are the five offensive linemen...they allow the other positions to do what they do. The challenge to Catholic is to come up with some game plans that show them offensive/defensive schemes they haven't dealt with. That's a tall order, but sometimes confusion can be your best friend, leading to turnovers and from that point on, it's a game. We're not coming over their to give them another regional title..they may get it but they are going to have to earn it. Come on over and we'll talk about it...I'll be the guy dressed in blue.

I think it will probably be a bit closer this time. I'll go with 42-21.

ill take boyle county 52-21, too much overall talent on both sides of the ball, including a D1 Stand out linebacker who can play on both sides of the ball and who i think will back up all the hype, and would anyone agree that if boyle wins friday and plays bell county the following week.. that the winner of that game will win the Title?

Thought that last year and look what Lone Oak brought to the table. Can't overlook anyone at this point in the season. And I believe that the same thing was said in 2008 when Bell County won the semi-final game and they had a really tough time winning the state title game.

I think that Boyle should win easily, I'm thinking by at least 30, possibly more.

thanks Purple. :thumb:

Gets me fired up just reading it. :taz:

Me too.

I had to share.

Boyle should win this one. Don't expect a blowout however.

Boyle is a prohibitive favorite. If they play Bell next week, it becomes much more difficult to call. The team out of the east will be favored in 4A (again). I don't believe I'm going out on a limb with any of this.
