Look at 2A from #2 to #8. WOW!

Look at 2A from #2 to #8. WOW!
Not to mention how much stronger 2A appears to be than 3A ...

Question: What determines a team's percentage or score? For example, Newport Central Catholic is #1 in 2A with a 74.7 and Beechwood is #2 in 1A with a score of 68.5. I can recall Beechwood beating Newport Central Catholic about 3 weeks ago. I think 2A is up for grabs and it could be any of 10 teams to win it. Therefore, I feel that Newport Central Catholic's percentage should NOT be well above anyone else in 2A.

Newcath did beat both CovCath and Dixie and Beechwood lost to both of those teams.

Each team's mark is based on all 11 games ... just because Beechwood beat NewCath doesn't mean they should be ranked above them. That simply means that NewCath has been better the other 10 weeks.

If every team had to be ranked above the teams they've beaten there would be chaos. The ratings systems don't work that way.

Newcath did beat both CovCath and Dixie and Beechwood lost to both of those teams.

...and New Cath is #25, with Dixie at #16 and Cov Cath at #17. Interesting.

That just shows you right there how inaccurate ratings can be.

and only 2 teams in the 3 smallest classes are represented in the top 25. (NCC, Mayfield)

Which seems pretty accurate.

That just shows you right there how inaccurate ratings can be.

Especially when it's Cantrell. I wonder how much high school football this guy actually watches?

How many teams in the smallest three classes have played teams in the top 25? I know New Cath and Beechwood have. New Cath is 2-1 versus top 25 teams. Beechwood is 1-3. Louisville Central is 0-6 vs. top 25 teams. Have any other 1A-3A teams played even 2 games versus the top 25?
