  1. 9 assistants? Wow, that is a lot of coaches! How many players do they have?
  2. Really just a bad case of luck for 2 players. ZA has injured both knees and Jaden injured the same knee twice. I have no idea what their weight training program is, but if it was something that was flawed I think it would have affected more than those two. I do agree that it is very frustrating to see any kids hurt and especially kids that have worked as hard as these two.
  3. I believe yesterday (2-9-18) was the deadline. Maybe we will hear something soon.
  4. Campbell did not play. The schools had an agreement for Alexander to score the first basket for Fleming (it was senior night) and then Lewis would score to make it 2-2. He did not play after that.
  5. I still wouldn't be surprised to see Fleming and Mason end up in the district with Powell, Estill, etc... They have been there before.
  6. Is the map on KHSAA the proposed new districts? If so, there are some strange placements! Kentucky Football 2
  7. Knott would be moving to 2A according to this. If that happens I wouldn't be surprised to see Bath (They petitioned to move up last time) or Fleming in this district. I think they were both in this district before.
  8. Not sure if Boyd is in the EKC or just playing in the Grid. Bracken County was never in they just played in the Grid due to there being an odd number of teams.
  9. Congrats to the Panthers and to Coach Stapleton on his first win as a head coach!
  10. Also, Brad Glascock is not playing this year. They will improve as the season goes on.

  13. I suspect they will stay in house. They have some quality young assistants.
  14. I know competition level has been a little different, but Fleming County has found a way to win close games (Mason, Greenup, Russell, etc...). Garrard has not (Western Hills, Rockcastle, etc...).
  15. With Crump playing, they will score more than 19. The question will be how well they stop Garrard County.
  16. It seems that many think District 5 will get swept from the playoffs. Does Fleming County have enough to get by the first round or does Garrard bring the broom to Flemingsburg?
  17. Fleming’s Qb left in the 1st quarter against Paintsville. It was 9-6 when he left. Not saying they would have won with him, just that it was a huge blow to not have him. Also, Jaden Campbell only played about a dozen snaps.
  18. On the radio they said he could have played but didn't want to risk it in this game. I think Josh and Jaden will both be back next week.
  19. Final score was 38-6 Paintsville. Paintsville is a great team and when Fleming's Qb went down in the first quarter it really killed them offensively. Also, with Jaden Campbell out they were just too short handed to play with a great team. Honestly felt like a closer game but Paintsville just pulled away late. Too many short fields and too much talent.
