  1. Final. Very hard fought ball game. Mason County is much improved and played a tough game. Prayers for Fleming County's Zac Alexander. He hurt his knee early in the game and was on crutches in the 2nd half.
  2. Nothing suprises me when it comes to high school sports! I agree that the Royals are improved from last season.
  3. Fleming will win because of the experience and skill kids they have returning. Not sure that it will be a shutout like the last 2 seasons, but I believe Fleming will win.
  4. West has a ton of speed! I think that will ne the biggest difference in the game.
  5. North Adams is in their 2nd year of football. A club team not school affiliated. Was outscored last year in 7 games like 363 to 9.
  6. Fleming County had to adjust on the fly. I know they finished in no pads.
  7. Wow! Rowan County must be much improved!!
  8. Replacing 4 linemen on offense and 3 on defense looks like a tall task for Fleming. Sam Johnson left a big hole on O and D. Eugene Hamm was a stud and will not be replaced. They will get 14 Jaden Campbell (was Waller) back this week. He just punted in the grid. He will help athletically, but again, I don't think that was the issue Friday. I think athletically, they can beat a lot of their schedule but won't win any big games unless the line play improves dramatically. Turnovers hurt them, but first game contact can lead to fumbles. If the fumbles continue, then that will be a concern. Crump is a gunslinger and will take some risks. He will hopefully mature with his decision making as the season rolls along. He is a threat when he tucks it and runs. That should be an option instead of forcing some balls.
  9. They certainly didn't look like it Friday. Replacing 4 linemen on offense and 3 on defense looks like a tall task for them. Sam Johnson left a big hole on O and D. Eugene Hamm was a stud and will not be replaced. They will get 14 Jaden Campbell (was Waller) back this week. He just punted in the grid. 10. I could open both but the Facebook one kept freezing up. My slow internet I guess. I only saw a few pictures from the games at Nicholas. Did you put more on there? I never saw your recaps of those games either.
  11. I think you have to make them public so we can see them. I get to your page, but don't see the links.
  12. Fleming only recovered 2 fumbles of Raceland's and they had no int's. Where did the 6 come from?
  13. I heard the same. Was anyone ejected?
  14. It was good to finally watch some football! Raceland was dominate up front and won the varsity part 21-12. Fleming had 5 turnovers and Raceland took advantage scoring on 2 short fields. Lots of penalties on both teams. Most costly was a TD called back on Fleming for a block in the back. Raceland might have lost some good linemen last year, but they still had some studs!
  15. Sadly, the games were moved to Nicholas County. Fleming County's parking situation and other construction projects, would have made it hard to host an event with 4 fan bases attending. The games have been flipped so at Nicholas County it will be: 6pm Raceland vs Fleming 8pm Rowan vs Nicholas
  16. For fans that are going, Fleming County has brand new bleachers on their visitors side that are a HUGE improvement over what they had in the past.
  17. They are a wing T, run heavy offense now.
  18. I don't know if they throw it enough to have a 1000 yard receiver.
  19. Is that 22 upperclassmen or 22 total?
