Fleming County is 5-1 and coming off a win vs Russell and West Carter is 2-4 and has a 3 game losing streak. The last time Fleming beat Russell, West Carter thumped them the following week. Will that happen again or will Fleming stay on track?

Exactly! If I remember correctly someone on here had ranked the teams from the EKC grid and they had Rowan ranked #1. They also had both Bath and Fleming ranked really low. They both have now beaten multiple teams that were ahead of them. Bottom line is, a scrimmage is exactly that a scrimmage! Most teams are going to work on certain things and try different things to see what they have. When you only get 1 scrimmage, you have to use it to learn about your team.

Pendleton has improved but Russell will win big!

Montgomery County has a couple of backs and a receiver that are pretty good!

I hate it for kids to have to miss a season, especially seniors. Fleming lost Zac Alexander for the season and Kaleb Flanery didn't dress against Lewis. Not sure the extent of his injury though. Your backups must have done a pretty good job because you layed it on West!

Who all is hurt/out for Russell? I know Stump was hurt in the preseason?

Scratching my head with both these teams for different reasons! For West, I saw them in the preseason scrimmage and thought they looked really good. The last 2 games have me confused. They shouldn't have lost to Nicholas and I thought the Russell game would be a lot closer. For Bath, they had some kids out when I saw them in the preseason so I knew they would be better than how they looked then. I am suprised at how close some teams have played them but they have proven that you can never count them out of a game. This game could be a dandy with West trying to stay alive and Bath trying to keep climbing the ladder!

Nice bounce back win for Fleming County. It was 37-0 at the half and the JV kids scored late in the game. Lewis County has some nice looking athletes. They just couldn't get on track tonight.

At Fleming County senior citizens get free season passes. Not sure about visiting senior citizens though.

I think Pendleton has improved but I think Bath has also. They will win by 3+ scores.

I think Fleming County will get back in the win column with this one. They have a lot of work to do to get back on track defensively, but I think their offense is too much for Lewis County.

Fleming could not stop the Indian rushing attack. They ran the Wing T like a machine tonight. Fleming looked good on offense at times, but they have got a ways to go defensively.

For Fleming County it is Mason County. I hope that they are reunited in the same district the next time they realign.

Way to cover all your bases Maysville 22! I agree it should be a great game that will probably come down to who wins the turnover battle. I don't think Montgomery has played a good spread team yet and I know Fleming hasn't played a good wing t team in a while!

Anyone familiar with Montgomery County want to give us some info on what to expect from them?

I don't think you knew or took into consideration how down Nicholas County is.

Mason will win big. They are a much improved team and have too many athletes/too much speed for Morgan.

Who wins this border battle? Does Fleming County move to 3-0 or does Rowan County even their record at 2-2?

Still no mention of Fleming County? I am not saying they are a top 5 team but they did beat the same Greenup County team that beat Russell. That's Ok though. They probably like being under the radar.

I think this will be a GREAT game. Having seen both against Fleming, I think it is a toss up. Greenup is tough against the run and short passing game. Fleming hit them with a couple of long balls (not sure that is Raceland's game this year). Offensively, Greenup is pretty balanced. They have a tough running game and their Qb is solid.
