I take it royalblue81 hasn't seen those boys play this season; figures he's an sk guy. Nearly every opponent they played had the same amount of players or more and Scott still won. Note: They crushed Beechwood (another winning program) 34-7 and Beechwood has beat teams from the other division as well. Great job EAGLES!!!

What happened?

It's funny, I remember when Mike Yeagle was coaching at Beechwood and they were on their dynasty run at a game down at state people were bashing him! The man won almost 90% if not 90% of his games and people still found something to complain about. That's the life these coaches choose to lead though. It's a shame too because Dale has done a tremendous job in Ft. Thomas.

Thank you for one of the most entertaining posts I have read on here! Well, I guess I'll address some of the things you said, but I'll do it in a classy style as I know kids get on here and read these things. His play calling is the worst you've seen... well I guess you haven't been to a lot of football games. His play calling scored 40 points and 99 out of 100 times, you win when you score 40. I'm nuts if I think he is a 6A coach? He is coaching a 6A school so I guess I'm not that crazy. I'm sorry you feel happy this is your sons last year with him. I am positive that Coach Borchers is very thankful for whatever role your son played in helping to develop this program. Go back to Ludlow where he belongs? Not sure how to take that. I have known Randy for a very long time and consider him to be a good friend so I have followed him through his coaching career which means I attended quite a few Ludlow games in my day. Have to say it is a great little town with very passionate fans and people and if you are on here with a negative attitude towards Coach Borchers and then telling him to go back to Ludlow where he belongs I guess that means you aren't viewing Ludlow in a very high manner. That's a shame you would have to stoop to that level. I would keep your day job as your detective skills are far from the truth. I am in no way, shape, or form affiliated with Cooper football except for the fact that Randy is a good friend of mine and I support him and the good things that he has done with this program. As for no parent defending him, I would disagree with that. I talk to parents every week and a lot of them are proud of the team and the way they have improved in 3 years. So quick people are to forget of that very first loss to Conner... What was it 57-0? Now the boys are competing and having fun! It's a great thing to watch! Again, I am sorry that you have taken such a negative attitude towards this program as anyone could see by the majority of your 53 posts. I do have a question though.. Have you ever voiced your displeasure with the coach or have you just come on here and bashed him behind your computer? I know it is easy to get on here and rant but the fact of the matter is that Coach Borchers is the coach, he is developing his talent well, and I look for them to be very strong in 5A over the next few years. To all of the players who probably read this, know that the man who is coaching you is a good man who will lead you in the right direction not only in football, but in life. He is someone that you can always count on to help when times get tough. Keep your heads up and continue to fight. Work hard and the winning will come. For a 3rd year program, you have taken great strides and everyone should be proud of the roll they played to help make Cooper High School a competitor. I know the man the school is named after would be proud to say his name is donned by such a hard working group of kids. Great job, and best of luck Jags!

Bradley ran for 410 yards last night... 410 yards. Why wouldn't you give it to him 3 times on the goal line? He ate Conner's defense alive. IMO it was the best thing to do. I can guarantee if Borchers had decided to throw the ball in that situation the exact opposite would be said and people would be saying why wouldn't you give the ball to Bradley 3 times on the one? I guess though that's the reason we're in the stands. It's easy to question everything when you have no clue about the program or see the kids at practice everyday. Congrats to Conner on the win, good luck in the playoffs.

I believe a lot of the 6A schools will still be on their schedule. I'm pretty sure they still have to play Ryle and Boone since they are Boone County Schools, and I have also heard some rumors that Cooper picked up Dixie for a week 10 battle....

I talked to Cooper's stat man a bit after the game. Bradley finished with 410 and 4 TD's I believe. Keep your head up Jags, you guys have worked your tail ends off and have nothing to be ashamed of. Coach Borchers has done a great job with this team in the 3 years it has been around.

You're absolutely right. Cooper's seniors, who started the program, playing the last 6A district game of their career, against the school that pummeled them 57-0 in what was the majority of Cooper's players first varsity start ever in the schools first game, will not be going nearly as hard as Conner's seniors. Good call. You and UKfan wouldn't happen to be related would you?

If you look at Ohio County's response they agree with where they were placed.

It's about as out of line as some things said by SK fans on here about other schools...

SK is farther from their district schools by like 1 total mile.
