I want to break some of these topics into their own threads.

 

One of the huge winners of the new alignment is Conner. If I am Coach Trosper I am looking at the alignment and saying to myself if we have a strong team we are going to the finals.

 

Thoughts?

No question about it Ru. I think Trosper has got to really like the new situation. I hope their pre-district schedule will include traditional games with Ryle, Boone, and Campbell Co., then throw in a solid 4A team. I think this will be a great prep for their district games. With what's in the pipeline, I think Conner will be a state contender through 2014. Next few years should fun to watch in Hebron.

RE, I agree Conner has a lot to look forward too and it makes it really interesting for NKY football because there will be another contender.

 

Of course Holmes is a contender this year until they prove otherwise.

Don't be so quick to count out Cooper. They are growing fast and developing talent out there pretty quick. What makes this even more exciting is that these two rival schools will now probably play each other every year for the 1 and 2 spot in the district.

I would say Trosper is happy, but Cooper might be even happier.

Conner should be happy with the alignment. Now they need to go to work to take advantage of the situation.

Don't know much about South Oldham but Cooper will own the others.

Cooper realllyyyy benefited from this. They have some nice players coming thru give them 2-3 years.

Conner should be able to dominate this new district. They have some really good young players currently and on the way. The rivalry that should develop between Conner and Cooper due to their proximity should be a good one. Looking forward to watching these two teams play over the next few years.

Coopers frosh QB should start varsity next year and should have the job for the next 3 years. Cooper is milking from Boone/Ryle/Conner and getting a nice pool of talent.

Cooper probably will get that this year IMO. Actually I think they get at least two wins in district this year.
