Lots of bad info here. Most not close to true. I'm glad most of these are rumors because some good people could be hurt if people believed this stuff.

None of it happened. The high school lost a teaching position due to enrollment and funding cuts. They had two PE teachers and cut one PE position. Happens all the time. Wouldn't you think if they wanted to open up for coaches, they would cut other positions? You are claiming or alluding to things that just are not true.

I believe 45 of 72ish statewide elected to play.

I have said it on here many many times. You are more than likely wasting your time (and lots of it) and money (and lots of it) on hoping or trying to get a sport schools. Get your ACT to a 28 and keep your GPA above 3.0 and the opportunities to many universities and colleges are plentiful. I made some regretful decisions in my lifetime, but I did not fall into this trap (team or individual sport clubs or whatever) and could have with two of my kids because they were very good athletes (but not great). I simply looked at the money involved and realistic chances and stressed academics. One got a full academic ride and the other 75 % ride. Now my other two, I just hoped they'd do something. Fortunately, they matured late (very late) and are doing great now. Not much scholly $$ for those two. But $$ well spent to send them to college because they are self sustaining now. At the time I wasn't so sure and thought they might be on the family payroll for life.

Why does it matter what it is called? I don't understand why people would even care of what it is called. It will be a great tournament. Whether they call it a Championship or Tournament or Classic or Event or etc. It doesn't matter.

Of course. No doubt, the only place to play that is an an elite level program in the state.

I have seen all 10 play and all are deserving. It would be very hard for me to pick the best, but if I had to, Tandy is it. I make that decision on who I would build a team around. Again, all are very good players.

CCH doesn't beat a good D3 team.

Congrats to CCH. They were clearly the best team there. CJ had a great tournament and deserved to be the MVP. This team had a lot more than him, though. I don't know why people get all upset and have to take away from a neutral obeserver trying to make a point about CJ. He is good. It really is impossible to say who the best in the state is. All opinion and no doubt he is one of the best. They were deep and talented. Reading this not enough accolades go to the other kids and I will do that. AJ was solid the whole tourney, Jake is simply a force that changed thing inside, Aiden was an excellent point guard and can shoot, also. Nowak was always steady. Thelen very long and effective off the bench, Mayer 2 is another hoss that plays hard all the time. With all that said, the defense won them the state championship. Again, great job and a deserving championship. On a side note, I have never been a fan of the "crazies". I have stated that before. My reasons are personal and I wll leave it at that.

I am not in the know anymore, but I would believe it will be Perkins or Carr. Perkins the best shot if he wants it.

You could put Ballard and LCA right with those guys.

Cov Cath is the better team by a hair. The key is how well SC hits their threes. Moreno's offensive game has been ok the last two, he needs to be the man for the Cards to win. SC is tough to gurad because they shoot the ball so well, but so does CCH. Both play outstanding defense. I think SC is better defensively, but CCH changes it up so much they cause major problems if you can't handle the ball. SC has a tendency to get sloppy with it. Frederick is the man for the Blue Colonels, but his supporting cast is very very good. Moreno the key for SC. Depth is about the same. The most intriguing kid to me in the tournament is Williams for SC. The kid grows on you. He is always around the ball and making the right play. A very heady player. Unassuming, but very effective. Thelen for CCH is long and I think they play a little better with him in the game. He seems to get frustrated easily, but he is a force. Both coaches are in the refs ears the whole game, that will be a wash. They both drive me crazy with their complaining. Billy is animated and SR is subtle. But they both work the officials constantly. Both had better bring their "A" game because each will make you look silly if you don't. CCH by 3-5

Harper is playing great. Tough break

SC came out aggressive built a quick double digit lead and coasted from there. Did what they needed to a team they were better than.

This is the Scott County I heard about. Wow! They are tough when playing like this.

WC's 1st quarter today was the best quarter of any team in the tournament thus far. They were absolutely on fire. They were just good from there on. Their 1st quarter today team wins the state, their 2nd-4th today quarter team loses to the Cards by 8-12.

You guys are biting. It is so easy sometimes.

I think they will beat SC by 10. I am not sure SC beats WC, but they should. I am not even close to being a CCH fan, not close.

Cov Cath is the best team left, not even close.

Fern creek can’t handle the size. Very intimidated inside offensively. Refs had to tighten up about way to physical. I thought they did a good job Doing that

Camels played great for about six minutes. The rest of the time they looked lost. The Colonels played well except for those six minutes

Dragons are hot! Man! They haven’t missed

Scott co. Depth was big factor. Just wore the red hounds down. Great effort from Corbin
