PurplePride92 Posted April 20, 2018 Posted April 20, 2018 Word is that Buddy Biggs resigned. Seems like this will be an attractive job on the surface.

One of the best gyms in the state, playing district and region tournaments on your home floor 3 of every 4 years. On the flip side, fan base not what it used to be and player discipline always seems to be a challenge.

mcpapa Posted April 20, 2018 Posted April 20, 2018 Agreed, but you forgot one one of the best scorekeepers!!!!!:lol2::lol2: Well, that clinches it!
GeneraLee Posted April 20, 2018 Posted April 20, 2018 This one will be fun to follow! Does former Royal and former MC teacher Ryan Hamm show interest? Should be some big names in the mix in the near future!
16thBBall Fan Posted April 20, 2018 Posted April 20, 2018 Could this be the reason that Willie Fieldhaus stepped down a few weeks ago at Male? Just curious:idunno:
ChiefSmoke Posted April 20, 2018 Posted April 20, 2018 Congratulations to Coach Biggs on an outstanding career!
Randy Parker Posted April 20, 2018 Posted April 20, 2018 Here's an article from The Ledger Independent with several quotes from Coach Biggs, who says he's stepping down solely to be a full-time father & husband. Pi Posted April 20, 2018 Posted April 20, 2018 Could this be the reason that Willie Fieldhaus stepped down a few weeks ago at Male? Just curious:idunno: Either Feldhaus coaching wouldn’t surprise me. A few local names wouldn’t shock me either
Randy Parker Posted April 20, 2018 Posted April 20, 2018 A few local names wouldn’t shock me either Papa can't do it. Road games especially would cause him to violate his Nursing Home curfew.
OpieTaylor Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Either Feldhaus coaching wouldn’t surprise me. A few local names wouldn’t shock me either I'd say you're correct with a local name.
KY Hoop Dirt Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Greg Himes Keaton Belcher Patrick Kelsch Jason Hinson Tim Haworth Jeremy Howell These are names that stand out to me as leading candidates for the position.

Is this Himes fella the frontrunner? Saw a separate story in the L-I that he was out after one year at West Union (Ohio) because they didn't have a teaching position for him and he no longer wanted to do the drive from Cincinnati area where he teaches. Does Mason County have a teaching spot for him if that is the route they go?
sumoroyal Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Greg Himes Keaton Belcher Patrick Kelsch Jason Hinson Tim Haworth Jeremy Howell These are names that stand out to me as leading candidates for the position. I have a hard time seeing any of these for various reasons.
