Sorry to disagree and first off congrats to NCC. For Beechwood-Suchanek, a Junior has been solid as you have said, but now 3 starters are frosh in Stringer, Combs and Slusher. All three have done very well for Freshman. Randolph and Schumann have pitched well for Beechwood. The Tigers simply have to hit better. To say Parker has faired well? How? He has been out of town. The rest of the group must hit for the Tigers to advance to the Region. Watching the Freshman and Suchanek do it all at the plate will not work. I will say #17 is hitting better for Beechwood now-Hamilton?

I'm fine with guys getting on here and braging on "their kids". Just at some point they have to back it up on the field. If you are a number 1 ace, then you will carry your team to the region, regardless of what district you are in. He gets a lot of praise on here, and now time to back it up. Sorry if it is salty to you, but it is the truth.

Let me just say this about Dunn.....nobody gets more pub on here than him. I will say this, I think he is good, but time for Dunn and Cooper to make the Region this year. If he is the best, then he will shut down whomever the Jags play in the district-Boone, Ryle or Conner, if not, time to back off Dunn the greatest postings.

Not dissing your Indians with the pick, but I think St. Henry has a little more depth. So the Crusaders are my pick, but as I have said previously, Holy Cross is the most improved team in the region this year.

I am going to go out on a limb here and pick St. Henry vs. Holy Cross in the final. Newport and NCC will be tough outs. Feeling a little upset action here.

I would go with Schreiver (CCH), Fogle (Conner), Suchanek, Combs and Stringer (Beechwood), Tiberi (HC), and Pangallo (NCC). Those are the ones I have seen. Haven't seen them all.

I don't agree with this. 2 very good coaches. HC's execution was off on the bunts, and don't forget Beechwood' s first run scored with two outs and runners on first and third when the catcher threw through to second base allowing the base runner on third to score.

Time will tell, but Brossart doesn't appear to be as good this year.

I think you are pushing this way further than it need to be for whatever reason. Have you ever seen the varsity girls practice or watched one of their games? Now we are talking about the best coach ever in 9th region girls basketball history and I could find several players that would have made these similar sort of nonsensical accusations. Very slippery slope to start individually meeting with every player and parent on the teams. Maybe the coaches should just keep the 8 players they plan on playing and leave the rest of the bench at home. That would save them from having to put up with this type of noise. Furthermore, if somebody from the school where the main parent involved is the Principal, complains about her or how they were treated, what is their course of action, and then should every child and all parents at that entire school be investigated too? Part of the"standard operating procedure". I won't comment on this any further because I believe you are stirring the pot on this issue WAAAY more than it need be.

So when Scott loses, then they got what's coming to them??? Silly. Congrats on the win. I guess when Beechwood beat them the day before the Eagles got what was coming to them??

That's ridiculous. The CIA and FBI don't have that kind of manpower. Maybe the administration could spend more time on improving the ACT scores...

Not saying Coach Downs is perfect, but he is certainly an asset for the Boone County hoops program. There are always unhappy parents. Usually have kids that are less than stellar players.

Knight was an awesome coach and certainly not the racist that Adolph Rupp was. Shameful for UK to have their arena named after that fellow!
