Conner scores on a wild pitch in the bottom of the 7th for the walk off win after HC scored on a wild pitch in the top of the 7th to tie it.

 

Never team had many hits, I am not sure what the official book would have but all of Conner runs would have been unearned in my book. HC's right fielder had a day to forget. HC did have 2 earned runs but scored an unearned run in the 7th.

 

The 7th had some excitement with HC having a batter called out for being out the box when she was hit by the catcher's throw on a steal attempt by a HC runner to 3rd. HC's runner was ordered back to second, a couple pitches later there was an attempted pick off by Conner's catcher at second when HC's runner had a big lead. The runner was called safe but then was called out, I was told the runner was called out for being to aggressive. I didn't see either play so I can't comment but I know a former NFL offensive lineman was not happy at all.

 

Both pitcher's pitched well but both struggled some with their control.

Having not seen them, I am going to give the Indians the most improved club status in the 9th Region this year.

BTW, Madyson Moran went "DEEP" again tonight, along with the two "bombs" she hit yesterday at Holmes, she is on a tear. :ylsuper:

I know she hit two at Softball City in the Pete Noll, and those fences were 225 ft. So JMU31......I can't remember, does she have anymore?

 

If she hits one this friday when the Breds an Indians play I'm buyin' dinner for you guys after the game, because she'll have to go at least 250 ft to clear the fences.

250 is a poke, I am not sure she could get one that far for dinner, if it was for a pair of shoes she would for sure try. Let's just hope we can get the game in.

I could be wrong but that's what they told me was the call. She is a very aggressive runner and player so I am not quite sure how it happened. We still needed another hit or two but it was kinda crazy way to end the game.

I have not either, but being ejected for throwing a closed fisted backhand to a player makes sense.
