Walter and GT both do a great job and sometimes are wrong. Not intentionally, but sometimes great sources are wrong. This place amazes me more and more every day.

Totally agree Jim! Then the kids model this behavior and have fun on Friday night...somebody gets in a car and hurts or kills someone or themselves, and then we all have a sympathy ceremony where everybody says what a good kid so and so was and it was just a mistake. Foolish and preventable. No need for a single alcoholic beverage at any high school game with any team.

Totally agree! Just seems between these two teams that I like and the Gallatin and Carroll County thread (again 2 teams I like)....just seems like too much drama for my tastes.

I think you are spot on Baseballin803. Suchanek had a tough 1st inning and wasn't helped by his defense. Not errors per se. Obviously he got picked off to end the game. It happens. Combs struck out once in a tough spot, but hey, the pitchers win some battles too. NCC is tough and that is why they won. The fellows that I remember reaching base were Suchanek, Stringer, Combs and Slusher. 3 Freshman and a Junior. The others guys have to get on to make Coach Mullins job easier.

I really think you and I are in agreement. The pitchers have pitched well. Schumann against Conner was especially strong. You and I both have noticed and commended Randolph and Schumann. I agree too that they all will have to contribute to advance to the region. I think the Freshman are talked about that much because they are that good. Trust me I am rooting for Bertke and Stoekle and Grant too because they are Seniors.
