Carroll County struck first in the bottom of the first when a routine single to RF turns into an inside the park HR. Carroll Co pitcher ,Sarah Hawkins and Gallatin Pitcher, Danielle Nichelson kept the bats silenced until the 5th inning when GC scored 3 runs. CC tied it in the bottom of the 5th. Game went extra innings and GC scored the winning run on a botched pick off throw to third base that sailed into left field. Congrats to both teams on a very entertaining game. Lot of big pitches, big hits and big plays in this game.
