The GC fans seemed to enjoy what happened. Her next at bat they were all yelling "Throw it inside and bust her in" I heard one of them yell "Hit her again" real classy. I thought after she got hit again that we should have someone hit for her next time we play, but after she ran her over at SS, I'm not sure she is safe from her on defense either. I guess she won't play against them anymore.

BTW the umpires were to issue a warning to both teams before the game that if there were any malicious acts against anyone in their judgement, there would be ejections. The umpire from Warsaw saw only a clean game.

I've been to the beach this week with the Wife and Grandkids and wake up to find my phone blowing up with texts this morning so I just HAD to check it out on BGP. From what I have been told, not all of what 20rook is saying is right., but I'm sure no one is surprised by that. I have talked to CC and GC people who have said that the umpire from GC had no bearing on the outcome of this game. It had more to do with a botched pick off attempt at 3rd, bunts not being executed and bad base running. As to the hit, as I said before , you work her inside. That is her weakness! I was also told from both sides that the SS was in the process of fielding the ball, not throwing it and that the GC crowd was saying. "keep working her inside". NOW....on to that video. I bet the GC folk would love to see that too. I'm just sorry I wasn't there to see it.

Superb facility, first class all the way.

Kinda sad to see this happen to 2 girls that have been teammates and I assume friends for at least the last 7 years. I wonder if the girls are upset about this as the parents seem to be.

Congrats to both teams on an intense, suspenseful game. Congrats to both pitchers on keeping the bats silenced for a good part of the game. If I am not mistaken, Carroll's best two hitters combined to go 1 for 7, which speaks well for Carroll's other hitters giving the Panthers a chance to win the game. Still somewhat baffled over Carroll attempting a called pick off play at 3B which allowed the winning run to score when the throw sailed into LF. Good luck to Gallatin in Owensboro and good luck to Carroll the rest of the season. Considering both of these programs were in the toilet for many years up until 2-3 years ago, it's great to see these two battle in important games.
