  1. What is it exactly that I can't read? Maybe you can't understand. Please post the video, IF THERE IS ONE and let us all draw our own conclusions. I know how you like to intimidate and threaten.Keep digging yourself deeper in that hole. What a joke!
  2. I've been to the beach this week with the Wife and Grandkids and wake up to find my phone blowing up with texts this morning so I just HAD to check it out on BGP. From what I have been told, not all of what 20rook is saying is right., but I'm sure no one is surprised by that. I have talked to CC and GC people who have said that the umpire from GC had no bearing on the outcome of this game. It had more to do with a botched pick off attempt at 3rd, bunts not being executed and bad base running. As to the hit, as I said before , you work her inside. That is her weakness! I was also told from both sides that the SS was in the process of fielding the ball, not throwing it and that the GC crowd was saying. "keep working her inside". NOW....on to that video. I bet the GC folk would love to see that too. I'm just sorry I wasn't there to see it.
  3. I think Erica is going to have a huge year at the plate and in the circle. She's off to a great start. Erica should have a very good year. I hope to get to see her play this summer as well. Good luck to Simon on the rest of the season.
  4. If you go back and read post # 16, I do say that I hope she is ok and does not miss any games because of it. I have no doubt she was hit. I would just rationalize that being a lefty, she would have been hit in the right arm. If the pitch was hard enough to injure her, I can't imagine she had enough time to move out of the way. This is a whole lot less about her and more about you and the "stories" you tell on BGP. I could go on to call you out on various things here on BGP but there would not be enough time in my day. I will say it again just so you don't miss it this time... I do hope she is ok and does not miss any game due to the hit.
  5. Doesn't she bat left handed, which would mean it hit her right arm, which she threw with when she pitched the JV game? Sorry, but along with the rest of the "stories" you seem to tell, you're losing more and more credibility all the time.
  6. I can't attest to what was or wasn't said, but when working the inside corner that is bound to happen...maybe time and time again. I'm sure it can seem purposeful if that is the case. It sounds to me that your issue is more of a personal one and as parents and players, you should keep that stuff off the field and just play ball.
  7. It seems from your post that you think the hit was on purpose, threatening to retaliate in the next game. By the way, not cool! I highly doubt that to be the case if GC was in the process of making a comeback. Maybe the pitcher was trying to take advantage of the inside pitch since that seems to be something Ogden struggles with a bit. We are talking about high school kids here, not precision throwing Olympians. I hope her arm is okay and that she does not have to miss any time because of it.
  8. I was told this morning that Carroll was not missing any key players. Their infield was in tact so I can only guess that any girl missing was an outfielder .Didn't Odgen come into the JV game, along with other Varsity starters, only after the team was losing this game? Not trying to take anything away from the hit, but if it was as severe as you say, how did she manage to come in and pitch the JV game?
  9. I would say a lot of luck came into play for Oldham Co. Take the fact that Hannah Dossett is playing with an injury which has affected her movement and shooting, some players with illnesses and that gives you the ability to be able to triple team B Dossett every time she has the ball. Oldham shot a very high percentage last night and were able to take advantage of these instances, especially H Dossett's ability to rebound being hindered. I do agree that the referees have been bad all around this week as well. As I said, not sure OC was MEANT TO advance as you said, but they were able to benefit from GCs disadvantages.
  10. I believe the point guard to be Brooke Dossett, not Hannah, and WV still had a very hard time containing her even with the double team. I agree there were some questionable calls made both ways but think the technical really didn't factor much into the outcome with 4 seconds left on the clock, Walton having the ball and GC still needing to commit 3 more fouls before WV would be in the bonus. If the assistant coach hadn't gotten the technical, the head coach would have gotten one anyway.
  11. Congrats to the Bearcats on the win and to the Wildcats for making it a very enjoyable game to watch. One question I have. I know that Walton had all of their players back but wasn't Gallatin missing another starter? I was told the girl with the knee injury had been a starter but weren't they missing another guard, Bowman maybe? If that is the case, then that was probably a "good loss" , if there is one, for Gallatin being without two of their starters
  12. Heard the Davis kid from Ryle played well.
  13. AUTISM CLASSIC in Lebanon, KY on Saturday, Jan.19th Manual vs. Bowling Green 4:45 Mercy vs. Marion 6:30Looks like four good teams.
  14. Congratulations to Gallatin County. I have seen them play a couple times this year, and I am very impressed with them, especially with the fact they are small. A question for anyone that was there, why did Trimble foul Gallatin so much and send them to the foul line? Was that a strategy?
  15. Hope to see WV turn things around but have a feeling that they will struggle some this year with players leaving the program as well as a lack in size.
  16. Schaeffer is a great player and has a very bright future ahead of her. Congratulations to her as well as HHS.
  17. Congrats to Gallatin. I have to admit that I was a little taken back that the deficit wasn't a much larger one though. Good luck to the Lady Cats. They have alot to contribute.
  18. She was a very deserving player that played with HEART. I hate to hear that she is not playing anywhere but wish her luck in her future endeavors.
  19. Congrats to Courtney! I love to see my Bearcats do well. I have been gone from Walton for a while, but am glad to be back and be a Bearcat once again.
  20. I must say that I am curious as to how players have moved up and down the list since the end of last season. I dont believe that High school coaches go around to AAU tournaments all summer watching these girls to evaluate them before they vote on this. And as I do believe this is a better rendition than previous years, you still have someone compiling this list who has never seen many of the players play. Just curious....
  21. Would there be another with a D1 offer? If so...do tell. Always good to hear from the 8th region.
  22. I'm pretty sure that Gallatin does have a kid with a D1 offer, not sure why you would dispute that.:idunno:
