Pittman and Rico have the ability to go for 20 and 10 every night. Its good to see Pittman playing hard, hopefully that suspension woke him up.

Thing I like about the young point guard is how aggressive he plays on the defensive end. He will be a force in a few years. The Tigers need to get one of their senior leaders back. Kyle Daniels is dealing with an ankle injury and Shumate is missing his inside scoring and rebounding.

I don't see this happening because neither Beuttel nor Romes won it last year.

I'm not sure on his baseball, I've heard his best sport is basketball.

True, but Holmes is moving down due to enrollment and the smaller schools was my main point. I think Silver Grove graduates around 10 people a year I had heard.

This is like the lost they had last season, everyone said that they weren't as good as we thought and they responded by beating Scott County. The Dawgs are fine but I'll agree that guard play is their question mark.

Schools who don't graduate a lot of people enjoy racing for a conference title, this way they have a chance to play for something. Its like the debate about the All A Classic, it my not be state recognized, but teams like playing in it and want to win it.

Thats a lot of talent, its very challenging to win without those caliber players.

Beechwood is young and needs to find a scorer outside of Pohlgeers, maybe post up Daniels a little more. Shumate normally likes to run and gun, maybe should try to pick up the pace.

Highlands is a tough place to play. I will take the Birds by 4 in a tough game.

Just looking at the box score you have to notice that Cruse is a sophomore, Maus and Nussbaum are freshman. Fangman wasn't much of a contributor last year, so these games are going to happen for the Beechies. Pohlgeers has to carry them and is proving that he can.

Don't get me wrong Calvary is for real this year but the tigers come out and play well they win this one by 15.

Thelen is going to be a great one.
