Highlands depth inside will be the difference in this game. MC has noboby to match up with Grubbs.

Setty and Gilbert will get theirs, but I see Highlands depth and physical defense really wearing the Royals down.

Highlands- 54

Mason Co- 46

I'll take Highlands at home, 60-52.

I think Mason Co does have depth at Center, Black, Manship, B Lang, Blueford. Mason Co took care of Dixie and won by a bigger margin than HHS.

But not experience depth. Mason's coach stated this on his post game show the other night. But he said that he liked the way these players were progressing. It would just take time. Who is Blueford, never heard of him before?

The Birds should handle their business at home. I wouldn't start comparing scores. Grubbs is a beast and I look for Kowolonek to get off un this one. The Birds run 8 guys on the floor that all have similar talent. Does Mason Co have this type of situation?

It may be a SP? on his name but he comes off around 8th off the bench.

Mason Co runs about 8 deep as well. Hopefully HHS can handle the press Mason Co really made Dixie struggle and caused them to turn the ball over alot.

I heard them call his name the other night in the game...and thought who is this...never heard of him. Did he play varsity last year?

Didn't play last season, nice player with huge upside.

Won't argue your prediction, just the logic. Every game, location, officials, atmoshere, match-ups and player rotations are different. I personally don't get caught up comparing scores. This could be a well played, athletic, very entertaining game. Last year was OT, I think it will be that close again.

You can't compare scores to get a true feel for how a game is going to go.

It's all about match ups. Highlands lost nobody from the team that beat Mason co last year but you won't see any Highlands fans getting on here and using that as their basis for why they think the Birds will win.

Highlands is simply deeper, more physical, and IMO more talented than Mason Co this year. I feel comfortable saying that because without Pawsatt, Mason will have no answer for 6'6 275 lb Grubbs down low.

If Grote is back in the lineup, I also think he will give Gilbert problems at both ends the floor. Grote is a fierce defender and very quick offensively.

I'll say it again...Highlands depth down low will be the difference:

6'6 Grubbs, 6'5 Watson, 6'4 Dill, 6'4 Smith-Keller, 6'6 Stewart.

It will be a physical game down low and I see that frustrating Mason Co.

Not that it matters, but calpreps.com predicts the following score:

Highlands 48 Mason Co 38

Highlands by 8 -12 point's, they have experienced gaurds and Grubbs should handle the middle.

You picked Scott over Mason Co too. Saying Mason Co just wasn't that good. :ohbrother:

Mason Co will be fine matching up.

Setty 6'7 Lang 6'3, Black 6'2, then Manship 6'2, Blueford 6'3 and others off the bench.
