Wildcats, coming off a victory over Bryan Station, travel to Covington Monday night to take on the Dogs.

 

Thoughts?

Id say the cats get their first L of the year but Im very interested to see how they compete with Holmes.

Newport is a very good team but simply aren't disciplined enough to beat a team like Holmes.

 

It will be closer than years past, but I like the Dogs at home:

 

Holmes- 65

Newport- 51

Even though Holmes will probably win this game it will be close.

 

Dogs 65

Wildcats 62

I think Holmes should win this one by 10-15.... Newport has been rather impressive this season though...

Holmes by 10 or so. But I'm interested to see how Newport plays against a team this good.If Newport can keep it close or pull off a shocker then this team can compete with anyone this year.

Holmes has to much fire power. Holmes by 20

The thing I am most interested in seeing is how this game flows. Will the winning team get into the 70's? or even the 60's? Someone commented on N. Ky. style basketball in another thread. This game might be one that the teams get more up and down the floor than what we usually see in N. Ky.
