I'm curious to see just how good Newport is. Tonight will give us the answer.

My guess is Holmes by 10.

The thing I am most interested in seeing is how this game flows. Will the winning team get into the 70's? or even the 60's? Someone commented on N. Ky. style basketball in another thread. This game might be one that the teams get more up and down the floor than what we usually see in N. Ky.

 

It will be interesting to see the score in this one as I think both teams are capable of dropping 80+ on any given night, but I just can't see Holmes playing uptempo against a team like Newport.

 

I'm thinking something like 59-48 Holmes.

Holmes hasn't played uptempo since 1980.
