You seem a little upset! Whats so confusing about wearing helmets home on a bus ? I have to ask ..... ? Should the coaching staff not wear a helmet home too ? I just think is a stupid rule for kids who just played there hearts out and lost a game to do that . Do the coaches not take any responsibility for a lose ?

Yea even longer back with helmets on ! Borchers makes them wear helmets home when they lose !

Hope this helps them get ready for Boone, Conner , Sk , CCH and Ryle last year was a joke in 6A. The ony teams they played good was the smaller schools . Would be nice to see them win a district game or two .

I have seen Cooper on the field. They look like they are bigger this year. I talked to a frosh coach last week he said they have some talent , no sure till they get pads on! I think it will be hard to match the team they had last year ! 2009 team was loaded with kids with alot of heart !

I know Centers went to Cooper he moved in with his dad. Why did these other kids go to other schools ? Lloyd dont have much to offer kids they have cut out alot of programs.

I think Cooper will be looking for a new coach this year . The program was just getting started .

Are you sure about this number? I know it was this number the first year but several people told me there were less than 25 for the U18 and only about 20 for the U16.

The young one does not have a strong arm but all three can cover ground. West is the only legit hitter of the three. The young one's stats are wrong in the paper half the time according to Conner parents.

I'm sure the same was said a few years ago with the 5 seniors mentioned as great baseball players. This is HHS, and after another year or two some of these players will be football only just like in the past. It's a shame but they will see others as football only and not want to lose their starting spot on the football team. It's a big reason HHS is successful in football as kids spend their entire year working out for one sport. If it were me, I'd play as many sports as I enjoyed and enjoy the high school experience year round.

Cooper plays them all. Its the same as last year just switch home games.

I seen them work with the Webster kid , he is a sophmore. They also worked with Centers there too. Both kids look like they are good football players, not sure if I would use Centers at QB , he is a better RB or maybe FB. I think they will go with Morris he will be there best option this year.

I heard Jared Blank at Cooper has been one of the top hitters. My son has friends on the team and they say Jared is the best fielder they have but I haven't seen the games.

This whole statement is very funny. I just returned from a "water cooler" conversation with Boone and Ryle supporters and I learned a lot of interesting info that I was not aware of because I do not follow girls basketball. I watched the game Sunday because I was waiting on the boys game and found it fun to watch two evenly matched teams. Unfortuneatly for Ryle, Boone was the better team this year, by about one point a game. The funny part and I don't know if it's true but the Ryle supporter didn't argue the point so it must have some truth is that there are still 3 girls that "belong" at other schools. This is from a Boone supporter with no Ryle supporter disclaiming it. Cheeseman- should be at Walton but "lives" with an aunt and uncle to go to Ryle. Johnson- went to Camp Ernst and lives in Cooper's district. Douthit- has been in Dixie's district.. Moss- I know that story of going from Heritage, Ryle and now Boone. Fact of the matter is there are programs that "get" kids to come to their school, both boys and girls, so the whining needs to stop and just support the kids.

Word going around Cooper is they will scrimmage CCH this season. This should be a great test for Cooper! I was at equipment handout the other day, looks like they have some new kids !

I knew it wouldn't be long before it started getting testy. SOME Cov Cath fans just can't take a loss against a new school with class. The nerve of a two year old school to beat the mighty Cov Cath!! These freshman kids that you mention did see a few minutes of varsity and JV but they also played freshman ball all year. Cooper has very few quality ball players since they have only been in existence TWO years so coach Sullivan tries to get them some early experience in varsity. The varsity has THREE wins. As long as a kid plays freshman ball during the regular season, there is no reason to hold him out of the tournament. It's not like they are bringing Junior's down to play. Cov Cath fans went nuts when they beat Cooper earlier this year in a tight game. I know you were there and maybe you had your blinders on. The Cov Cath crazies only come out in groves when Cov Cath is a winner. Just look at the Mason County game thread where you mention the place used to be packed for these two schools when competing against each other. Look up the HHS-Cov Cath football thread last year when HHS was up around 60 at half and the Crazies left at half time. FAIR WEATHER fans. I won't even get into the Public versus Private where you basically are a select team drawing kids from all over the place, including some of your best football players who are Boone County kids. Keep making excuses as even if we lose to Scott this tourney was a HUGE success for this one win alone!! As long as my son or grandsons are playing I will cheer loud, even if it's FRESHMAN.

Cooper Frosh look like they have alot of talent ! I think they have the deapest bench I have seen at the frosh level. Future looks bright at Cooper!

Can Cooper get there first district win this year? They have alot of starters back. If the Jags play the cards right they should make the playoffs.

I was at the Sk vs Cooper game Thursday night. The game was called so bad. Both of them was grads from SK and you could tell! One of them was taking the money at the door so im told. I think they need to do something about some of them. Not to say Cooper would have won but it would be nice to see them play a fair game.

Don't sweat the small stuff. TOG is a Cov Cath homer and no one works harder, has had to over come more, has had a better education, etc.. than those that go to Cov Cath. Every team at Cov cath is the best as well, at least until the games are played!
